Trying to conceive

my luteal phase (ovulation to period) has always been 14 days. I was under the impression this could not change. I either ovulated 14 or 15 days ago. at 9 or 10dpo I got bfn on FR FMU. because it was such a good test, FMU, and I got bfp by this point with my last baby I gave up on it for this month.
but today I think is dpo 15 (chance its 14) and no show for period. also, I usually have some loss on wiping and pain by now. could I have tested too early? the box said 75 or 80 per cent ish accurate at the point I tested and because I got a very faint early bfp (8dpo) with first baby I thought I was out.
I was ok with that as only first month ttc and never really believed it would happen to us so quick. But now, annoyingly getting my hopes up again! no tests in the house! I don't think theres any other reason if it doesn't happen in the next few hours as luteal phase cant change? x

Hey chick i think it can change just like you can ov on different days I know my cycles changed each month, ov got earlier and lp got longer by a day or so till I got my bfp x

thanks LH86, I read that it couldn't and it never has for me - supposedly the bit that changes is the bit prior to ovulation, which, even when all over the place for me the luteal was still the same. Maybe a day or so was just the difference in 12 hours when you ovulated? not sure, maybe it can change. They can't speak for everyone can they!!
Anyway, very VERY excited as got a BFP this morning. In shock really as took 5 months last time, so fortunate to fall quickly. I'd forgotten how unexciting and tense the whole ttc thing is.
So tentatively saying Im pregnant, but of course know its early days xxx
