Hi everyone, I had a mc on 29th September. We're now tentatively ttc again. I've been doing ovulation tests since day 8 of my cycle but they're always negative. I usually expect to ovulate on day 11 or 12 but i expected my body to be out of sync for this cycle. I'm confused though because on several different days I've had ewcm - not much and not all day (actually on one of the days it was quite a lot). But how can that be if the OPKs are negative? Anyone got any experience of this? Thanks.

Hey January. With both of my mc's the 1st cycle afterwards was annovulatory (i didnt ovulate) & i have read that this can be pretty common. I still had all the usual cycle stuff like you are describing... Because the progesterone etc is still doing its thing as normal... Just no positive opk.

good news is with both, i did start ovulating on my second cycle & the second cycle after my first mc I conceived again.... So it could happen soon for you.

Thanks SW2, that helps a lot! I'll be very glad when my body gets back to normal! Ha ha!

Fingers crossed that I'll catch next cycle like you did. Although I'm so sorry that you lost it xx

    Thankyou January.

Glad I could help... One of the really frustrating things post miscarriage for me was not knowing what my body was doing & difficulties finding out info so this website is great for making connections with women who have been through similar things.

good luck to you in your future ttc!
