    PM
ok ladies, i am on CD16 and so my husband and i are BD'ing every other day at the mo, plus i have been doing the clear blue digital ov sticks.
well this morning we BD'd (wasn't ideal as it made us really late, and he needed to be in work earlier than normal even! still, when needs must!!) and after i did the ov stick and got a smiley face - my first time yippee!! so i thought well that's good, and let's BD again tomorrow in the hope of getting lucky.... and fingers crossed there's a chance that today's sesh has done it.

BUT....sorry if this is gross and TMI, but because we were in a rush this morning, i had to zoom out of bed after (no time for cuddles - poo!! and no time for bum on pillows/legs against the wall malarky!) and start getting ready, showered etc, and i noticed a bit of the 'stuff' came out. i dont think it would have been ALL of it, there wasn't lots but definitely some.
so now i am worried it was a waste because i lost the little swimmers. clearly i am not very knowledgeable here, and was hoping someone could reassure me that some of them might have made it, or at least stood a chance? i know that there is still only a chance if some did make it to the right sort of place, so am not assuming i will be pg or anything, just hoping they at least stand a chance.

sorry if this is gross - your opinions are gratefully received!

    xx

This query always makes me laugh! If you think about it logically, if sperms could be removed by going to the loo and wiping, there'd be no need for other contraception...!

It seems so counterintuitive but I have been assured that nature has got it worked out so the swimmers make a break for it the second they're released - so don't worry.

Someone recently with a BFP on here (forget who) said they'd never done legs in the air or that pillow stunt. There's def hope!

thanks flush and mrs_e i am normally a pretty rational, (relatively) intelligent person but when it comes to this TTC lark, i am totally irrational, ill-educated and i over think EVERYTHING!

When they 'make a break for it' as people have said - the strongest get through the cervix to go onto the egg - the ones that came out would have been the weaker ones - so you are fine hun xx
