    I found this on a website i was reading. I didn't realise that OV can be so short, like literally 6 hours. So technically if you OV early in the morning and don't bed untill the evening you could miss egg.
    OMG everyday it is then lol


    How long can a human egg survive?

    Most ova probably survive about six to twelve hours after ovulation. However, for the purposes of contraception, you must count on a 24-hour survival period, plus an additional 24 hours in case there is a multiple ovulation.

    thats odd i just came across this whilst looking at ovulation calendar thingy.

    Thats why we bed every other night from the time AF goes until the time AF arrives again coz the sperm can live longer.

    Yeah i understand why its best to BD every night but i always thought the egg lasted 24 hours not 6 hours how crazy!! xx

    We bd every other day as the swimmers are meant to be able to live for a while in fertile cm. x
