Is it normal to have CD21 tests alongside the tracking scans? I'd of thought you have tracking scans to show you are growing but CD21 tests to confirm it happened / progesterone levels are right to sustain if the egg did get fertilised?

I had both. Tracking scans to watchg the follicle grow and progesterone (CD21) to ensure it burst and released the egg.
Progesterone is only produced after ovulation so the cd21 test confirms that ovulation did happen. Sometimes a follicle can grow but not ovulate. So it is important to have both scans and blood for at least the first month.

Thats what I thought Ducky. Had a price from Bourn Hall for Clomid x 3 cycles but it only includes tracking scans!

You could ask your GP for the day 21 test?
