Getting Pregnant <
Trying to conceive

Hi, this might be a silly question but I've been trawling the Internet to find the answer and had no luck.
I came off cerazette 3 weeks ago, after being on it 2/3 years. I'm looking to start trying for a baby ASAP, but wanted to have a period first. As of yet, no period, spotting, nothing, however have been feeling very moody, down, depressed for last week, so could be on it's way (hopefully)
Anyway, my question is, if I get impatient waiting for period to come (willing to wait another 2/3 weeks) and I decide to start trying, could I actually fall pregnant? Or do you have to have a period before you can physically conceive?
Thanks in advance for any response!!! xxx

Hiya, no you don't physically need to have a period in order to become pregnant but you do need to ovulate. So, in theory you could fall pregnant. This is what happened when I became pregnant with my daughter.
I guess waiting for a period may be advised and it would certainly make for a better understanding of your dates. Good luck x
