Just joined today and hope some of you can give me some advice!!
I took my last contraceptive pill on sunday 1st may, had my withdrawal bleed on Thurs 5th May for 5 days. Was due to start new packet on pill on the monday 9th but having decided to come off pill so didnt take it.
Today, 23rd May (2wks after end of withdrawal bleed) I have just started bleeding, is this what i would class as my first natural period? I'm so confused!
We are technically TTC so just like to know where I am at! We have been having unprotected sex in last 2 weeks but assume I am not pregnant if I now have my period?
Probably very stupid questions but would appreciate the input!!

yes if I were you I'd count that as your first true period off of the pill. it may take your body a while to get into some form of natural rhythm again, assuming you had one pre pill, so count yesterday as cd1. Hope this helps? I waited 40 days for my first af off the pill xx

Thanks for your advice sophsandava!
Ive seen quite a lot of people waiting longer than what I have so wasnt sure if thats exactly what i was experiencing. Seems to have died down a bit as was quite heavy on Monday but like you say will take body a while to get back into the rhythm as ive been on the pill for about 12 years!
Just need to wait and see what happens now as my cycle wasnt that regular in terms of length before I went on the pill!
Thanks again xx

Fx it sorts itself out for you! I'm on cd5 second cycle off so going to get ovulation tests for this cycle to see if I'm ovulating yet as last cycle i had no clue what was going on with my body at all! xx

i use an app, ovia, but there are loads out there, they can really help track and plot when your ovulating and due a period. Also you can get cheap opk's on the internet which will also help. Good luck x
