Hello, I wonder if someone could please just confirm what I am thinking as I am having a bit of a blonde moment. I recently started a new job and am now in my 4th month of employment and in the early days of trying for our first baby. My employer states that to qualify for mat pay I must have been continuously employed by them for at least 26 weeks continuing into the 15th week before EWC.
So in lamens terms, I will be employed for 26 weeks in December, therefore if I am pregnant now and due in June, my qualifying week will be in March so therefore I would qualify for mat pay now already?
