Getting Pregnant <
Trying to conceive

My boyfriend and myself have decided to try for a baby....I had the implant taken out in Novemeber and haven't been on any contraceptio since then. I knew that I wouldn't fall pregnant straight away due to the implant still being in my system for a little while, but it's now February, and I'm not pregnant....since I've came off the implant my periods haven't been regular (They were never regular on the implant though).
My last period went away about two weeks ago and was there for over a week (roughly 10/11 days) and this morning, my period has came back and it's already really heavy...I know if I go to the doctors all they are going to say is that I just need to wait until my period goes to a regular cycle, but I've never had a regular cycle, even before going on the implant, and my doctors are useless to be honest.
I'm not sure how long it will take for my period to settle down a bit, or if there is anything I can do. Any advice, tips or personal experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I don't have experience from the implant but it will defo take time for your body to get back to normal some quicker then others.
I've recently stopped cerazette pill in December and had a period exactly 28 days after (my cycles were 28 days before I went on the pill). I ovulated and everything was certain I conceived but the witch showed on cycle day 33. Which I'm happy about as some women who come of contraceptive pills etc don't have a period for months and months!
My only advice is to stay relaxed and positive! It will happen when the times right :) baby dust to you! Hope you concieve very soon x
