Trying to conceive

I'm so upset, disheartened, confused!! I have had 3 POSITIVE HPTs (IC) with the first and second urine sample in the morning, 2 which I took yesterday and one this morning. 2 negatives (including a clear blue) and today I went to the doctors and their dip tests came out NEGATIVE!!! (which it would be since it' was in the afternoon?!?!) And they won't give me the time of day because I told them my last period was just over 2 weeks ago. What the hell is going on?I'm going out of my mind with worry and uncertainty!!Here's some background: I'm 28, married for 1 year, have PCOS, been TTC a month, two months ago I started taking prenatal vitamins to prepare to TTC, my last period arrived on CD40 and I believe this was down to the prenatals. My cycle prior to taking those were 90+ days. Totally unpredictable. Have been told I don't ovulate in the past. But surely THREE tests (five if you include the extremely faint two I took and when I say faint I mean we had to squint so hard and move the test around in different ligjt etc) can't be wrong? I just don't understand. Can any of you lovely clever ladies explain this to me? Xx

Do you have a picture of the tests?

Weird because I would say that test looks very positive to me x

Yeah that definitely looks positive! Like you said, perhaps if your pee was more diluted in the afternoon then that’s why the doctors test came up negative. Especially as you must be very early on given that you had a period not that long ago.
My advice would be to get a test like a first response early response & see what that shows... if that is positive then take it into the docs to show them & ask for a blood test rather than a pee test as that is more sensitive.
I have also read that PCOS can cause false positive tests if you have a cyst right now... so that is definitely something to talk to the doctor about... with that in mind I would drfinitely want a blood test and would hope to have a scan too to confirm if it is pregnancy or a cyst.
keep us posted!
