so ladies - I'm on CD34 and after a few rather obvious (or so I thought) symptoms, I thought today I would test since 34 days is the longest I've ever gone without AF - I thought I was onto a good thing. Yet here I am this morning, with I'm pretty sure a BFN. I did think for a second that there might be a light line, but I think I was just kidding myself - G checked it and he doesnt think there is anything there either. So - now I'm confused. We dtd lots, and especially when I got the smiley face on my CBD - and i still without AF on CD34....what is going on - I really dont get it.Help ladies

I'm sorry to hear that af got you. It is normal for cycles to go awol - mine were 26 days long before I got preg. I miscarried in April and my cycles have been 32 / 35 / 35 / 28 days long so far. God knows how long this cycle is going to be!
Good luck next month hun and I'm sending a shed load of baby dust your way!

aaahhh thanks girlies.
Calee - WOWWEEEE - 37 weeks, how exciting for you. I do remember your m/c hun, so glad that you're almost over the finish line. I'll look out for your announcement
Judy - thanks hun, yeh mine has been 32 / 33 / 28 / 31 / 32 / 34.....its driving me mad. and it always appears right after I'm convinced I'm pg, and take a test.....I say every month I'm not testing, only waiting until AF shows. Well this time I'm waiting - I dont want to see another BFN
Baby dust to you too girl.

I guess it all depends on what your cycles are likely normally. For me, it wouldn't mean anything if I didn't have af for 6 weeks, nor would it mean anything if I bled every 2 weeks because my cycles are all over the place!
If you're pretty regular, then it does seem odd. The problem is that early pg symptoms are much the same as pre-af symptoms, so it could be that your ovulation was delayed this month and so therefore you af is, too.
However, you could be pregnant but the hormone isn't picking up yet - if your cycles are about 35 days, for e.g., then 6 weeks since your last period could mean you've a newly implanted bean. Did you do a test with your first wee of the day? This is usually the best to go for as it's the 'strongest' one you'll have and gives the best results early on in pregnancy.
If it was the first wee and it still came up bfn, just give it time. The thing I've learnt since ttc is that my body is one cruel thing and likes to keep me guessing....pah!
Hoping yours is either the bfp you want or a temporary blip Keep us posted x
