Trying to conceive

Its been a long time since I posted on these forums but here I am again hoping to conceive baby number 2! I had my first at age 35, I'm now 38 and hoping I haven't left it too late!
Anyway, I don't temp/chart so don't know for sure when I ov'ed this month. But I do keep a check on my cm. My cycles are usually 26-29 days. So heres what happened....I had a some ewcm the evening of cd 10, cd 11 and the morning of cd12. But hubby had a bad tummy bug at that time so we didn't bd until the evening of cd12 by which point the ewcm had gone....so not sure if I was too late?!
I am now on cd 23 and have been having a few symptoms. For the past few days I have had sore boobs on and off, been feeling faint and headachy, and had cramping very low down at the front (I usually feel af pain in my back) I tested this morning and bfn but I am probably too early.
What do you think my chances are? Given my age and only the one bd am I just getting my hopes up??

I am 38 and although I have a daughter at 17months, I am hoping I am still able to have another one, I do expect it to take longer but as this is our first month ttc i could quite as easily been lucky first time, will not be long until I find out for sure. All the best and i hope you are very lucky soon.x
