Trying to conceive

So im not sure when i ovulated But i do know i was TTC last month, and my period was suppose to start on the 25th of April,
(to add this in as well, on the 25th i took a OPK (first time ever taking one just for the heck of it, and it had a faint pos line i know that dont mean positive but i was thinking, ive been taking them every day since then and not even the slightest bit of a faint pos line so maybe i ovulated right before my period sometime ? )
Well i woke up to bleeding, was kinda light then became heavy and bright red. That was for 2 days, then it went to almost a med flow on day 3, then on day 4 it was gone, all day, all night, then on day 5 i got brown spotting and today day 6 still brown spotting this morning, now its gone.
This is all unusual for me, even when i was on birth control last year, i missed periods but every time i got them it was 7 days heavy, and even after birth control and this year its been 7 days and fairly heavy. I took a HPT but BFN which i figured even if it had been IB it wouldn't show this early. Anybody here bleed for 3 days then suddenly stop end up PG? I figure i kind of got my hopes up lol but worth it to see what everyone else has experienced. :) thanks in advance!

Implantation bleeding should be light more like spotting. You may have not ovulated last cycle and the bleeding would be light if that was the case. I would take another pregnancy test in a few days just to be shure. Other wise I would just start checking for ovulation again. If this happens again call your gyn she may want to check your hormone levels.
