Trying to conceive

Me and my husband have been ttc for 15 months now... Every month I try not to get my hopes up. I was just wondering if anyone experienced AF like cramping and still got a BFP? I'm about 4 days late (i think, i'm sometimes irregular) and having dull cramps and last night I had reallly bad pain in my bbs. Just looking for a little hope before AF comes along again I guess :P
Also, i've ordered some clear blue digital ovulation tests for after this AF. Anyone used them and have any words of wisdom for me?

sorry, no words of wisdom I'm afraid as in the same boat as you! I've not really done much in the way of ov testing, charting, temping etc as (luckily) my periods are pretty regular! My problem is most likely my age!(40)
have you had your blood tests done seeing as you've been ttc over a year?
what cd/ dpo are you?

Thanks for your response
Sorry to hear you are struggling too... frustrating isnt it!
No, not had any tests done yet as we wanted to wait until we got married (September 2012) so that they'd take us seriously. Now I just need to pluck up the courage to go see my GP.
I have no idea on my dpo because of how irregular I can be. It ranges between 28 and 35 days, which is mainly the reason I have ordered some Ovulation tests for this next cycle.

that doesn't sound too irregular to me, that should mean you're ovulating every month! mine are usually 29-31 days but I don't think I ov'd til cd21 this cycle (going by ewcm) so it could a 34 day cycle this month which of course I hope af doesn't show!!
you should go see your gp; I went just for piece of mind and luckily for me everything came back normal but poor hubby is reluctant to go for his tests as he thinks the problem may lie with him (I just think he drinks too much beer!!)
good luck with the ov testing kit, at least you'll know when to bd at the right time.

If he's anything like mine he'll say "what will be will be!!"

I think he's just as worried as I am, but embarressed to go to the GP tbh.
