Trying to conceive

Took my temp today, tracking cm, etc, and Fertility Friend now says I have OV. Temperatures have risen for last 4 days (higher than they've ever been!). But OPK says not though (3 negative tests over last 3 days).
I've got PCOS and read that sometimes kits can get obscure readings - is this actually the case? Just wondering if I've actually got the OV I've been so longing for (which also means BD was timed perfectly (without knowing, obviously!).

Apparently you can ov without opks detecting a surge and you can also have s surge and not ov. If you've had a temp dip and spike then it's likely you ovd x

Yeah I'd say you did if you had a spike and then high temps for 4 days yay! xxx

Hooray!! That's pretty awesome My temps are really low normally (96.8 average) so to be 0.5 of a degree above 97 is really high.
Well, I suppose here starts the waiting game! x
Ah, thanks ladies! xxx

Ah yeah ive had a look at your chart and the temps definitely look like ov, but cd8 is very very early for ov. How long are your cycles usually on average? And have you had any ewcm if you dont mind me asking? Xx

Also it says on your chart that you did an opk the day ypu ovulated, but not the day before, which is why you got negative o.tests. your LH surge is usually 24 hours (approx) before you ovulate, if you get a + it usually means you will ovulate the day after, so by missing the opk that day you probably missed the surge! still good to bd every day around your fertile time just in case, looks like you hit that nail right on the head! xx

Cycles are crazy short if mid-cycle bleeding is considered a period, like 17 days. If its considered spotting, then they're 34 ish days. No ewcm by typical standards but a mixture through the day between very watery and kind of regular clear cm. The most I get for me.
((I've just deleted my chart link by mistake, argh, need to put it back up!))
31/07/2013 at 13:01
Watery and clear is good and going by your 17 day cycles cd8 for ov isnt that early, I think you probably did ov hun
Are you taking clomid? xx
I would say yes. It would be the day before your first temperature spike.
31/07/2013 at 13:32
On the first day of the tests, there was a line on the OPK but feinter than the tester line. So I discounted it and put it as a negative. As for BDing, not all are recorded, only put the ones in where cm has changed so could signal a change...it's ridiculous....since I came off the pill, my drive has returned...dh isn't complaining though
I'm not on chlomid, no. Booked in to see my doctor on Tuesday because no ovulation in six months, also concerns over PCOS. Was going to ask about help with ovulating but I'll take my charts in and see what she says
I'm slightly in shock!
