I THINK that on rare occasions you can ovulate from both ovaries, (dont quote me on that tho! Lol) And thats maybe how non identi twins are made.
I personally ovulate early, usually 10 days in. But I think it can vary.
Have you ever tried charting your temps? A few years ago when I tried to conceive my daughter, I tested my temp (orally) every morn b4 I got out of bed. Your temp usually stays pretty consistant, however you will notice a slight increase around ovualtion.
I get ovulation pains too, but at the time they werent always at the same time as ov. And thats how I discovered, I was leaving it too late to try.
This time around with the knowledge that im 10 days ov, I have conceived easily Hope you get your BFP soon!!! x x

Yes from day 1.
I used to listen to the experts when they said that it happens around day 14, now I just think that you should work out your own cycle.
Whats your cycle length?
If its 4-5 days ish including the light bleed, then I would start then,
If its longer, i would start from the heavy bleed.
Just remember DO NOT get out of bet 3-4 hours prior to taking your temp, if you can help it. Its more accurate after a set rest time. And try for the same time every morn (although, that went out of the window for me at weekends) Lol. It may only be a slight increase, but listen to it x x
