Trying to conceive

I'm 4dpo as confirmed by FF. I had OV pain, ewcm and a very clear thermal shift.Today I have had more OV pain (same side) and ewcm again. TMI but ewcm just literally covered the toilet paper when I wiped. What do you think? Could I be OVing again??

No, highly unlikely. The rise in temp after first ov is caused by progesterone which prevents further ov. Cramps can happen at any time for all sorts of reasons and cm can also come and go. It is possible that you actually didnt ov the first time but that your body geared up to and then didn't so now it's going again. Can you post your chart?

You can get some EWCM after ov - it's not impossible.

Hmm. Thanks Ladies. Looks like it's just another one of those things sent to confuse me during my 2ww then! I often get a little bit of CM after OV, but this was so much!
Here is my chart AR. FF has already changed my OV once, from Thursday to Saturday...

You have definitely already ov-ed although it's a little ambiguous as to which day, which ff also thinks as it's given you a dotty line. Cramps can happen before and after ov as the follicles get ready and settle backdown again. Which is why cramps alone aren't a good indicator of ov. Cm can also happen in the 2ww I'm afraid. More things sent to make it harder!!

My friend has non identical twins. Her sonographer said she thought they had been conceived two days apart, although I guess they could have been released at the same time.

The second egg would need to have been released at almost the same time HW, before the progesterone rise from the first egg which happens very quickly. Twins scare the be-jezzzers out of me!!

Thanks ladies, this 2ww malarkey is such a pain! I remember the days when I blissfully just waited for one AF to the next, with no over-analysis of every twinge and drop of CM in between. Those were the days!
AR, I had a lovely solid red line until I put the EWCM symptom in yesterday.
Oh wow HW, that's really interesting and not something I'd thought of before.
