    Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone can offer any advice? I had an erpc 11 days ago after finding out I had a mmc at my 12 week scan. I bled for a couple of days and then nothing until today, where its like I'm starting a period (soz tmi). Could this be an early period? I've had slight cramps but no other symptoms, but dont usually get any anyway. Everything I've read says you dont get your first period until 4-8 weeks after erpc which is why I'm worrying, or could it be an infection? Or just normal?

Soz for so many qu's, my head is a big fuzz!! Am worried something went wrong with erpc xx

I had an infection after an ERPC. I had the ERPC on a Monday, hardly bled or had any pain but then on the Friday of the same week had pain that I had never experienced before and was very different to period pain.

    TMI coming up!

It felt like it was right up inside me and flexing my pelvic floor muscles was very painful, as was sitting down on a hard chair! It definitely wasn't a crampy type period pain. I had a creamy blood tinged discharge which didn't smell (they tell you it will, but it didn't) and I was also quite red and swollen inside my vulva.

All very unpleasant, but I went to my Dr when I got the pain, she gave me antibiotics and all the symptoms had gone in a couple of days.

Or, you could just be passing stuff that they didn't get during the ERPC.

Either way - get yourself to your GP and get checked out.
