Trying to conceive

Im new here and don't really know how to word my experience.
Basically me and my partner have been trying to conceive for around 3 months.
I was meant to have my visit from AF on 08/10/16. - a few days before this I had what I thought was implantation bleed but it lasted 4 days and was not like my normal period what so ever. The colour and overall cramps were different.
I have felt some kind of nausea. stomach twinges and lower back pain. I have had a sore hip for the passed couple of days and achy legs.
Can anyone share their stories or have any ideas for me?
I have taken a clear blue digital test but came back negative.

Hi hun. It's possible your cycle is just unusually long this month due to stress, even if you don't feel stressed out, the act of trying to concieve can sometimes alter our cycles, it certainly did mine anyway. Or perhaps you are pregnant and it's taking your hormones a while to build up. Clear blue digitals, and digitals in general, are not very sensitive tests. You'd be better off trying a first response early result test. x

Ive been trying to blame it on stress, but still nothing and no usual signs of AF yet. How long can it alter them? like how many days late? I just don't want to get my hopes up too much. I didn't know clear blue wasnt that sensitive. thank you for that. X

It depends when you ovulated. I was stressed this month and ovulated on cd23.... I usually have a 26/28 day cycle, so have had to add 14 days on so will have a 37 day cycle this month. Never happened before.

I usually have a 28 day too. Ovulation CD10. That's crazy! long time to add on to your cycle. Does it not affect anything or is it the norm? X

It's never happened to me before so I don't know :(
think it just means AF will come later...
do you usually ovulate on cd18?

Your Luteal Phase will never change so when I OV on day 12 I have a 26 day cycle, day14 it's 28 days. So that's why I know to add on 14 days.

I'm guessing it will be normal - our bodies like to mess us about! Do you keep a chart or calender?
Im not sure, i have only just started to pay attention to it all and trying to work it all out. My body is usually like clockwork even after coming off the pill it went regular straight away! x

Same here. Never late except when I was PG in May.
I do chart but this month we were travelling about and I have gaps in my temps so each time I got a positive OPK (4 times!!!!) I didn't have a thermometer with me to be able to confirm actual ovulation! Am pretty sure it was Friday..... but without temps I don't know!!!!!
Maybe I haven't ovulated at all! Am pretty fed up tbh! Thought I was 16dpo but actually am 6dpo
