Trying to conceive

Hi everyone! I am about two weeks late for my period, although I have stopped taking birth control pills about two months ago- but I had a normal cycle a month afterwards. Today is day 47 of my normally 30-35 day cycle. I took a pregnancy test last Thursday with a negative result- no change in the test what so ever. So I waited over the weekend for AF to come, but she didn't make her appearance. I took a test this morning (Tuesday) and didnt see anything except for the control line within a few moments so I shrugged it off as being another BFN and continued my day visiting with an old friend of mine. I left the test on the bathroom sink and about a hour later I went to use the restroom and I noticed there is a faint positive line- not sure when the line appeared within that time. It is lightly purple, not gray or colorless like an evaporation line is-or so I've been told. But I'm not sure! I have had unprotected sex almost everyday, but am unaware of when I ovulated. I will post a picture of the test, hopefully some of you lovely ladies will be able to distinguish an evaporation or a positive (: Thank you!

Hi Katie I would try a first response test as they are meant to be more sensitive. if not your gp should be able to offer you a blood test to confirm. Good luck and fingers crossed!
