Trying to conceive

Hi everyone, Thank you so much if you take the time to read this and respond, I really appreciate it so much. I'm very new to this so please excuse my lack of lingo and inexperience. I would really love to hear any advice from anyone who has any ideas about my situation, good or bad, as I'm slowly driving myself insane. My last period was on the 9th and I had unprotected sex on the 17th, (I have recently checked using an ovulation calculator and my fertile days would have been 16th-21st). This is where it gets a little more complicated. I was unsure over what to do and ended up taking Ellaone on the 20th. I was expecting my period on the 2nd and my cycle is usually a solid 23 day cycle. I never miss one and I am never late. Around the 22nd I went to the doctors complaining of pain shooting down both sides, sometimes it would stay on one side, sometimes it would alternate. She did a urine test to rule out STI's and I had two internal swabs to rule out cancer (cervical screening) and another for infection, which both came back fine. Around the 27th my breasts started feeling really sore, itchy, hot and full, I started to cry at everything and feel really emotional, and started feeling so tired and just really drained. One morning I slept until 11am when I'm usually up and dressed by 7:30am. I believed my period was coming so did not think very much of it but my partner felt a bit more suspicious. A few days after that I started to get intense nausea, I would have it when I woke up and it would disappear and then come back during the day, also to correspond with this I began to have period like cramps, sometimes I would feel like it had arrived but when I get to the bathroom, nothing. I have done four pregnancy tests that have all said negative. It's very strange to say but I either feel pregnant or I feel like my period should be here. I do have some white discharge now too, so no sign my period is on it's way. I always keep track of my PMS and I always know when I will get certain symptoms and when my perios will come. Does anyone had any ideas what could be going on? Does anyone think the morning after pill has messed with my a little? Or could I be pregnant or just late? Many thanks in advance =]

Hi hun have you recently come off the pill or anything? It is very strange that you haven't come on and are getting negatives..all the symptoms are there, maybe go to docs and request a blood test if still negatives. Some people take a while to show up positive on a home test my friend was 13 weeks gone before she got a positive and was testing nearly every day after 2 days being late on her period so it can happen. Keep me updated :)

Oh and sometimes the morning after pill can have an effect after but shouldn't be to this extent xx

Hi there, thank you for your message. It is very reassuring to hear about your friend, is there a reason it could be undetectable for so long? I haven't come off the pill no, and I think you are right about the morning after pill. I have taken it once in the past and it did delay AF a little, but even then I could tell I was going to come on by PMS symptoms. The only thing that makes me think it still might come is my stomach swelling up like a balloon , but it's been that way for about two weeks now and nothing has happened.
I think I will do what you say and make some time to go to the doctors. I'm starting to worry that it could be something more serious!
Many thanks xxx

Some womens hcg levels can be low in the first few weeks and makes it harder to detect. I understand what u mean I actually last month was very light and had very light bleeding and my stomach bloated like crazy I did tests and it came back negative I still took my pill and I came on as normal this month sometimes it can just be your body..try not to worry to much but I would go to the docs just incase...it's better to be safe than sorry :) hope your alright hun xxx
