fertility friend is saying i ov'd 3 days ago. i have only been temping for just over a week, so do you think it is confused? i am on cd 46 and my longest cycle previously was 45d, i have been having lows on cbfm for past 22 days. also had a pos on cb opk 33 days ago!

    Hi Calleigh,

I can't seem to view your chart. I don't know if it's something I'm doing wrong or if it's the link!

Socks, Lilou, are you out there? We may need your help!

What CD did you start your chart on?

    Morning!
Sorry I didn't see this earlier.
Seeing your chart would help, FF does get it wrong sometimes!
If I can remember rightly, on FF on the left handside, go to 'sharing'
then 'RSS feed' and copy the 'Your personal RSS2.0 URL' in the box below and paste it on to your post. It will (fingerscrossed) work.

My understanding of cycles is you always get AF approx 14 days post OV. Your luteal phase is personal to you and does not alter. Some ladies have a 10 day, some longer, but the average is 14. So if you had OV at CD13 your AF/BFP should be here by now. My doctor told me the OPK can be unreliable so I would go with what your body is saying. I have only used the CBFM once but it did seem quite good at picking up oestrogen.

FF hasn't got much data to go on yet but it must have picked up a peak in your temps. What is your CM etc doing (if it isn't too personal a question!) And what cycle length is normal for you?

Also have you had a chat with the GP? Have they done any bloods at any point?
Sorry for all the questions! Will try to help.

Hey! I just followed your link and thought oh that looks like my chart then realised it was  It is difficult for FF to predict very accurately unless you start from CD1 and says it cannot make good analysis of your chart unless you have three months data. it will say you have ov'd if you have 3 consecutive rises in the temp of your chart. I was just going to ask all the questions lilou has above! xx

ha ha socks! wouldnt that be freaky! anyway, this morning ff has removed the ov line and said it no longer has enough info to go on. cm is dry and has been for a while. the reason i believe the cb opk is that i was out with hubby in a greasy spoon in blackpool and got a sharp pain, which i have before when oving, and when i got home went to toilet and had spotting. did the test then and it smiled at me, so that's why i believe it as there were three signs, not just the opk. but even if i went off the last day of highs of cbfm i would now be 23 dpo. i have a dr appointment next friday. it was the soonest appointment i could get with the dr who said she would refer me if i had another 40d+ cycle!

I would try doing another HPT if you did one a week ago in the evening with a CB, the clearblues are not very strong but if you are 23dpo you should be able to try another one now at any time of the day with any test and get an accurate result. Good luck!!

hi miss. i did it in the evening cos i thought this far past ov it should matter anyway. will use another tomorrow. it just seems like a massive waste of money as i dont even feel pregnant. obviously 1 test isnt a massive waste of money, but when you add it to the many ebay cheepies out of the 40 i bought at christimas (i now have none left!), the 3 CBdigis, the 2 CB non-digi and the 3 FRs i have used since ... I am slightly ashamed to say ... 7 dpo!

    http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/250cc2

Hhmm, they are quite erratic, I can understand why FF said yes, then no, then yes again!
I would definately go and discuss it with your GP. It may be you haven't OV this month and hence the long cycle. That's what was happening with mine when they were irregular. You could ask for CD3 and CD21 bloods after next AF. But I know it is AF you are waiting for. Don't let them fob you off. It can be really stressful when your cycles are out of kilter.
On the other hand you could be pregnant! Have you done a HPT this weekend?
I hope it gets sorted out soon. In the mean time I would keep recording as much info as possible as it will all help you when getting the docotr to help you find out what is going on.

thanks for that lilou. my ticker needs updating but no idea to what! do you think the opk was wrong then when it gave me a smiley? i have not done another hpt. couldnt face another bfn. will test again in the morning. i have only one test left in the house and it is a normal clearblue - not a digi.

ssshhh i have ordered 2 tesco hpts in my online shopping order today.

Hope it's a positve for you!
It is so frustrating not knowing what is going on. I personally never got on with the OPK. They never picked up my OV at the right time. Which is why I found the CBFM so good.
If you did OV then it would be very confusing that AF hasn't turned up, or that you aren't getting a BFP. Doesn't seem to add up.
So fingers crossed for tomorrow morning!

Can you think of any reason your chart is so eratic? Mine is a little up and down but not as much as yours. I am not surprised you are fed up though! Hope she or a BFP arrives soon xx

    Hi Calleigh,

Have you been to the doc's? If not I think it might be worth you going and having a chat. It does seem like a very long cycle. They might be able to shed some light on things.

    Take care,

booked in to see doc on friday but think i am going to have to rearrange until next week as work is not going to give me any more time off (had 2 weeks off recently + numerous hospital appointments before then).

day 50 today. not helped by my sister asking me tonight if i was up the duff (classy, eh!). When i said no and asked why she said cos i was full of spots. nice. like i wasnt feeling bad enough. i am full of spots though.

    :\?
