Trying to conceive

I've been ttc for 14 months. My ob-gyn thinks that everything looks fine and isn't recommending any treatments at this time. I'm ovulating each month and HSG showed tubes are open. Dr. keeps telling me to "just keep trying" which, of course, isn't very reassuring. DH and I aren't willing to try IUI/IVF and would like to conceive naturally. We are now considering accupuncture and some other natural approaches. Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated! Thanks

Maybe I can convince my DH that all we need is a vacation!

DD 1 took 20 months then tried for 4 years for second baby. Finally paid £4.5k for IVF which failed (!!!) then 2 months later fell pregnant naturally with DD 2. Complete miracle. It can happen for you too. Dont think there is anything special you can do just keep trying. good luck x.

We had been TTC #2 for 3 years. We were diagnosed with secondary sub-infertility, and my original Gynae told me that once we hit 3 years we would probably need IVF. A scan showed a large ovarian cyst, which I had removed on the 8th of May. I also had a Lap & dye whilst they were in there! My left tube is completely blocked but my right was fine. On Tuesday I found out we are expecting #2 in Feb 2015! A complete shock so soon after surgery, my new Gynae obs was thrilled! After this long waffle post what I'm trying to get at is, that although from the outside everything looks clear, they don't really know until they investigate further...My Gynae told me that the Lap & Dye is the crème de la crème! It certainly worked for us. Wishing you all the luck in the world

Hiya , just been reading trough your thread, me and my partner had been trying for nearly 3 years,we had been to the doctors and had all the tests done which all came back normal and got told to keep trying. We moved districts so the doctor sent my partner for more tests. We got the results on the Friday saying everything was fine and then got a BFP on the Monday so don't give up hope. I no it's easier said than done but good luck xx

I just wanted to echo what others have said. We've been trying for 17 months and have been tested and told all is ok and to keep trying. This month we went away and chilled out and amazing we got our BFP this week. Good luck and don't give up xx
