I don't come on here everyday but we don't seem to have had any BFPs for a while. Maybe I've missed some? I do like to see some good BFPs. It gives me hope that it will happen for me again soon

Which reminds me. How are you doing Tonka, if you are around?

That's a shame Mrs B. No more planned? x

I say go for it. You can worry about house/car when it happens

Mrs B. I've sent you a private message. Hoping you get it as I've never sent one on here before x

Ms - yeah it's been over two weeks since we had a bfp which was tonka's. Nothing since :-(

Thanks for asking after me MummyS! I'm always lurking around to see what my TTC buddies are up to and I have my fingers crossed for all of you!
I'm 7 weeks on Friday and have an early scan booked in at 11.30am the same day and if all is well, we'll be telling the parents......eeeek! This week has been the toughest so far, it's been so hard trying to disguise my throwing up from the in-laws but I'll actually be glad to tell them, just so I can lie down every now and again! I don't know how I'd be coping if I had to work too! xx

Believe me, we're trying ....
07/08/2014 at 18:02
Glad to hear your doing well. Good luck for your scan tomorrow. I'm sure all will be fine though. Make sure you flash us a pic!

Is it just me that finds the op a bit insensitive? I know it isn't intended that way but for some the road hasn't been an easy one and we would all love our own BFPs but for the moment it's not happening. We don't need reminding. Jumps off soap box.

I completely agree Clare. I'm a full on lurker so probably not got as much right as others to feel this way but definitely felt a pang of 'shock' when I first saw the post. I'm sure the
OP didn't mean it to come across like that, but made me feel a bit rubbish! Believe me we are trying! In fact I have my first docs appointment on Saturday so will try and post more rather than lurk from now on!
07/08/2014 at 22:42
Apologies for typo in your name Claire and random line break! This is why I should stick to lurking!
07/08/2014 at 23:44
I'm pretty sure ms was just worried that she missed a few bfps. When lurking it is easy to miss some, especially as the board is so quiet these days!
Zola - hi! We have a weekly thread these days that is more chat oriented, feel free to drop in and tell us about yourself, or anything you like really! :-) good luck with your docs appointment on Saturday xx
08/08/2014 at 04:13
Claire - thank you, yes.
MS - I'm sure you didn't intend it to come across that way but to log on and see "lacking BFPs" as a title, it was a little ... well, insensitive! The boards are quiet as 1) we lack newbies and 2) there are a few of us who are finding the journey harder than others. For me it acted as a reminder that it hasn't happened yet. Again, I know that no malice was intended and I certainly don't mean to make you feel bad, but just to make you aware. x

The thing is, I've been away from mumdrum fir large periods of time I've come back and wondered if I'd missed any BFP so I've looked through the threads and popped over to the tri threads in BT. I wouldn't start a thread with the title "lacking BFPs".
