Hello! I new to this. Please help
I am 25 years old and was on Dianette for 4 months. I came off last month and am trying to concieve. I have been checking ovulation on some cheap tests I brough on Amazon but according to the I haven't ovulated yet and it's day 18 for me. I am really worries and desperately want to get pregnant. I don't know if it's because of the dianette I havent "appardently" ovulated this month.

I am new to this as well, but I would say that it would be best to wait for your first AF and then start testing from that point as you will have a better understanding as to where in your cycle you are.
I came off of Cerelle on the 8th Feb and it took me to day 33 to have my first AF which I am now on day 4 of.
I was regular before going onto cerelle so I will start testing according to that and go from there.
Try not to get too stressed about it as the more worked up you get it could delay everything. Are you TTC for your child? If so, less pressure and more fun should be the way to go at the beginning!

Aww thank you. are you TTC as well?
Yes im going to be trying for my first child. I just can't help but get stressed. I want to get pregnant quickly but I think because I have taken Dianette for 4 months I feel it's ruined my system.
Could you please tell me what AF is? I don't know what all these abbreviations mean ????! I just about figured out what TTC meant!

Also when I stopped Diantte I bled for 5 days after and it was like a real period. Do I classify it as a real period?

If you search on here for abbreviations, it will tell you what they all mean. AF is Aunt Flo (period).
Im 26 and TTC for my first so I know exactly how you feel. In the grand scheme of things, being on a contraception for 4 months is not a long time at all. I was on my for 2.5 years and then another 5 before that on another type of pill. It needs to get out of your system and then re balance your hormones.
I am now on cd4 (cycle day 4) and we will officially start trying now we know how things lie!
Your only at the early stages so make sure you enjoy the process, don't pile loads of pressure on yourselves and go with the flow!
We are off to New York this week so that will give us plenty of opportunity to relax and see what happens!

Keep the thread going with updates as to how you get on, there are loads of lovely ladies on here who know a lot more and Im sure they will post some help and advice too.
I am also following some other threads, not necessarily commenting but it gives you a chance to learn a bit more.
I would recommend the one with the ovulation tests if that's the route you want to go down.
