Hey there, I really need some help! I have a 42 day cycle, have been regular since February (when I came off the pill) have been having sex every 2-3 days, not sure when I ovulated though. AF is a week late, I have very sore, swollen boobs, skin has broken out, rapid heart rate, tired, etc which are all progesterone symptoms. Have done urine test, BFN, have done blood test yesterday, below 5 HCG, but I swear I feel exactly how I did with my first. Could I have just ovulated really late??? Help!

Hi, i'm going through the same thing right now. I am 2 weeks late, i'm usually every 5 weeks and now its been 7 weeks since my last period. All the HPT's keep giving negatives. I am seeing the doctor tomorrow and worried that he will laugh it off. I'll probably get offered a blood test but i'm so nervous its all in my head or somethings really up with my cycle. I keep reading posts on forums where woman havent tested positive til weeks 8-10 and beyond. But I feel its giving me false hope. I feel i'm going crazy. So would be nice to speak to someone going through the same thing. Katie

Hi, I had an awful experience at the doctors today, he was dreadful. He just told me it was doubtful that I was pregnant and to wait another 10 days for my period to come. I asked him would I then be offered a blood test and he laughed and said no, we'll know either way by then. I felt so stupid. So back to the waiting game. The only thing he offered me was to do a urine test (at 4pm!) when i'd already told him I did one first thing this morning. Is he thick? Doesn't he realise that afternoon pee is far less sensitive? I'm at my wits ends. But it's so nice to hear from someone who is going through this too. I really appreciate it. I'm in the UK, where are you from?

I know, i have terrible luck with doctors. My surgery is awful. I had one really good female doctor but she's left I could cry. The other doctor, Dr Warnock (Warlock, i call her) Is horrific too. I live in Edinburgh. The other surgeries near by arent taking on any new patients. Well one is, but you have to call first thing on a Monday to register and they only accept so many new patients each week. I will try them again on Monday.
I'll stick with the advice you were given for now. Sounds much better to me! It's so nice to speak to someone who is going through the same thing.
I'd love to go to New Zealand, I have family out there too. Near Stirling and inNelson. I'd love to go one day.

I think you just have to go with your gut feeling. Even if it turns out your not, then at least you know you did everything possible and gave it the best chance. That's how I am looking at it. Have you got any symptoms that are different to normal PMS? It is such a mind game this whole 'trying' business. I was never meant to be able to have children so didn't even notice the signs when I was pregnant with my daughter, but my test didn't show up positive until I was 3.5 weeks past ovulation which was crazy! So there is still hope!
I used to live in Nelson. So beautiful! I am in Auckland now which isn't too bad but the South Island is so amazing

In all honesty I don't usually get PMS symptoms, apart from a bit of cramping. This month though I had a day of cramping the day my period was due but then it never came(Monday) then on Saturday my boobs got very sore and now they are a whole cup size bigger lol I am very lethargic. I usually work out 6-7 times a week, this week I have done about 2 workouts lol, skin is bad, dizzy, so tired that I am nauseas. All the feelings I had when I was last pregnant with my daughter, Its making me feel like I am imagining things :P

I have a 42-43 day cycle, have no idea when I ovulated, we were just trying every 2-3 days. So I am only 10 days late, which means I really could be very early pregnant if I ovulated late.
Do you track your ovulation etc?
