on sunday i started bleeding was mostly noticeable when i wiped lasted a day i that the past couple of days was pinky brown when wiped my period was due from the 21st so just wondering if this was a period or implantation please help
28/08/2013 at 16:06
If it was only noticable when you wiped then it does not sound like a period to me. What are your periods like? Are they usualy heavy?
Did you do a test?
28/08/2013 at 16:32
my periods are usually a little heavier and have to change pads more but this time round ive worn pads and the past couple of days theres been spots not done a test yet as abit scared

I read your other post hun and I'm sorry about your miscarriage. I know the feeling, believe me. I miscarried in April and have been testing every month since - no luck yet thou.
I would say, give a test a go, the bleeding sounds more like implantation bleeding
28/08/2013 at 17:05
aww sorry to hear you misscarried hun just glad to have someone else to talk to aww im sure your time will come hun fingers crossed for you i dont know whether to wait or not as before the bleeding i had lower backache and abdominal pains in sides i even got blurred vision the sickly burps are horrid lately and got a horrid taste in mouth aswell that just aint going
28/08/2013 at 17:19
Is it like a metallic taste in your mouth? If it is, then it coud be a pregnancy sign hun
Was this your first miscarriage? Tell you what, I would have never thought that I will be unable to cope for this long. But hey ho, life goes on ... even my mum told me to stop feeling sorry for myself cos I was neither the first one nor the last one. Not nice! I decided that I will not talk to her about it ever again cos she doesn't understand and her comments are not helping!
How are you coping?
28/08/2013 at 17:26
it is a metallicy taste and i have gone off some foods aswell sorry to hear that your mums comments werent helping hun i was upset for a day really teaedul bf comforted me alot which helped i blamed myself for it my mum wasnt supportive with me just told me to keep trying and now my bros gf is preg and its all about her seems like a competition as mum says are u not pregnant yet it upsets me just dont wanna get my hopes up

Shell, I'm so sorry your mum's being like that. It's pretty cruel of her - I'm sorry if that's me over-stepping the mark to say that. You couldn't help miscarrying and it's not as easy to click and just become pregnant, as every single lady on this forum knows!! Does she not think you'd want to be if you could?
Hoping you get sorted, love xx

Agree with WooH, we would all like to be pregnant but it is not that easy! Our mums don't seem to understand - boooo
Anyway, your symptoms sound really positive hun. I would do a test if I was you Maybe not tomorrow if you are not feeling confident, but definitely next week or at the weekend.
I have just that funny brown /pink discharge - only when I wiped. I poked my finger up there a bit to see if there was any more of it inside me (sorry tmi) ha ha I got so excited, I cried! My af is due on Wednesday next week so I've got to wait a few days before I can test. Let's hope it doesn't turn up - I will be very disappointed if it does!

My mum doesn't even know we're even thinking of trying - she'll get far too emotional, so keeping it a secret, then she won't get stressed if she knows all isn't quite as straight forward..! She'd be massively supportive, but don't want those awkward conversations before a bean has settled ;)

hey thank you all for replying i know it can take a while to get pregnant just upsets me that seems to be a competition we were keeping it quiet we are trying but a few people know now i think will test in a few days or so just dont wanna get hopes up and then get a negative as will be so emotional i also put a finger in down below to check and had alittle pinkyred on finger sorry if tmi last night had abdominal pains again but they went and lower back ache aww goodluck sweetjusy21 really hope your af dont come for you xxx

Good luck hun! Will you let me know when you tested? It is not a competition and if people thought about it they would realise that you cannot compete with other ladies because you cannot influence conception, you cannot make it happen! I wish we could make it happen, but I guess that would be too easy then ehh?
I think af arrived this morning and it is 6 days early! I went to the loo down stairs and blood started pouring out of me . Will see if it gets heavy like my last 3 periods. I got so excited yesterday, thought it was implantation spotting. I knew I was going to fall flat on my face but didn't know it was going to be this soon
Bless you WooH I thought my mum was supportive, but I'm not sure anymore. Maybe she is trying the 'tough love' method on me - well it is definitely not working!
Lots of love to you ladies xxx

I know how you feel hun, my little world falls into pieces every month when af arrives! My partner is very supportive, but he doesn't want to talk about the mc and ttc and he even said the other day that ttc was all I talked about - ha ha ha. He once got annoyed with me and said that we have obviously not been blessed to have a baby yet and that I should be patient. Easier said than done!
I will see how today goes. If it is proper AF then I will just have to start counting my days to ovulation again. Strangely enough I feel more positive than I did yesterday? My emotions are all over the place!

same here i fall into pieces every month when af arrives my partner is supportive aswell its hard not to talk about ttc though wish i knew when i was ovulating as my af is different each month so its hard to work out when im ovulating i just try and aim to make love every other day glad your feeling more positive though hun i know what emotions are like xxx

Have you tried using ovulation sticks? I stick to ClearBlue Digital, but if you find them too expensive then you could buy some of Ebay or Amazon for £4 or £5. I use ov stics every month and also started temping this month. The charting and temping stuff is very interesting and there are a lot of lovely ladies here to give you advice in respect of temping / charting.
We try to DTD every other day and then every day during ovulation xxx
29/08/2013 at 09:26
no i aint used nothing like that hun ive to make a docs appointment for september as my afs aint in a pattern yet and had to keep a diary of them i was thinking about charting temp etc its hard as my friends aint very supportive either xxx
29/08/2013 at 09:57
I would recommend the ov sticks, they make it so much easier to track ovulation. I use them every month. The temping is great too and very interesting indeed.
Please feel free to ask if you need help with anything. There are lovely and very helpful ladies here - we will try to help you as much as we can!
I'm sorry to hear that you are having a hard time hun. I'm always here if you need to chat, it helps when you have someone to talk to. That is why I come on here every day and I really consider all you ladies to be my friends
