    Hi Ladies,

    I've been lurking around for a bit now but have just started second month of ttc so thought it time I said Hi and thanks for all the tips! so hi!!

    also just wondered if anyone else's partner is taking any vitamins to aid conception? seen the prenatal stuff and keep reading about zinc and folic acid beig good for sperm strength so wondered if anyone else had got a man taking some?

    there are lots of potential complicatiosn fro me getting pregnant so feel i'd like us to maximaise our chances as much as poss but hubby is a bit resitnat to taking stuff... any tips or advice please!

    no, he's even resistnat to paracetemol or stuff if he's ill.

    but also i think he feels its some kind of slur on his manhood! don't want to push him but equally want to give ourselves the best chance!

    think i'll go with the.... 'other people' do it' line!

    how about trying to change the foods you eat by adding lots of food containing folic acid and zinc we have done this cause oh is same as yours will not take any form of vitamin/tablet , i know brocolli is high in folic acid along with

    Dark green, leafy vegetables
    Whole wheat bread
    Lightly cooked beans and peas
    Nuts and seeds
    Sprouts
    Oranges and grapefruits
    Liver and other organ meats
    Poultry

    if you just add lots of these to your diet at least the pair of you will be getting enough.

    I've got my OH on zinc folic acid and vitamin c. Although I do have to remind him every day to take them!
