Massive congratulations to you both
Not sure which was the right board to post this on but we have a bumps and babies group on facebook that most MDers are in, and which is mainly why the tri threads are so quiet. Would you like to join, I'll find out who can let you in it would be lovely to have you there xxx

That would be fab if you could please. Let me know what I need to do.x

It's a bit disappointing to see people heading off over to FB the minute they get their BFP.
If this continues, we won't have an MD - is that what people want?

I know what you mean Tayto, I was confused as to where everyone went. I think a big part of it is that it's so much easier for people to just post from their phones there and to other sites, especially if you aren't at a laptop very often.

Holey if you add me as a friend on FB I'll add you to the group.

Hi Dolly that would be lovely :) I will add you as a friend too. Thank you.
Tayto I will still be on here don't worry! I want to see many more of you with BFP'S xx

Yes I won't stop checking in on you lovelies xxx

Thanks dolly. Just done it (I think!) Initials SC
Tayto - I am keen to stick around as you've all been a great support but if there's no one to talk to on the tri threads it kind of defeats the object iyswim?

Thanks you guys - I just feel like we're losing the support mechanism if it's closed to only those that were lucky enough to get their BFP's and for a specific year only - almost like a school ground clique!
Holey - ahh but it's the chicken and egg situation except in this case MD (Hitched BT) was here first and, as people are preferring FB, there isn't anyone around. If the FB groups weren't there, there would be people on the tri threads which was what I was trying to get going again when I asked you and Hoddy to start the tri threads again......

Tayto you and the other ladies have helped be a great support to me on here and I would hate for you or anyone else to feel in any way left behind or excluded. There is a TTC MD group on fb if you would be interested in joining that for some more support?
I certainly have no plans for leaving MD, like I say I have found it a great support and would love to watch more of you get your BFP'S. X

What's the point in having MD if FB is being used as well?? I would only move off MD if I felt it wasn't of any use to me - the support I get here is amazing and I don't plan to give that up; it just saddens me that others feel it's not enough.

The problem with MD is that its just not user friendly, i have to sign in everytime which i know is no real big deal but is a pest.
If it wasnt for MD I wouldn't be part of the FB groups though & I got great support from here when I had my ectopic pregnancy last year. I still read almost every day just dont post due to the hassle xx

What device do you use cooper? I've used MD on a number of platforms and found it fine. Maybe ask Sarah to have it investigated in the feedback forum?

I find md a nightmare on my phone (android), really slow and glitchy to post. I have no problems on my laptop but I only log in a couple of times a week, usually at work, when I can't use mumdrum. It's a shame, when I was ttc last time it was super busy and the three separate tri boards were very active too. At that stage I used my laptop daily but once R arrived, I mainly use the Internet on my phone while feeding. It was that point that I stopped logging on regularly and I suspect a lot of others are the same.

Ahh, I wondered where everyone had gone after they had had their BFPs but this explains it! I am sad that the tri threads have pretty much disappeared as I would love to know how everyone is getting on :-( Do people post birth announcements on BT anymore or has that stopped too?

Mrs 50's - I know what you mean needing your phone at feeding time - my sis says it was a god send with her twins and eating! It doesn't explain why the ladies can use MD up until their BFP and then need to use FB after that time though....!
Lottie - I haven't seen any since the last of the 2014 ladies - there wasn't many due in Jan anyway so I guess that could explain it. Not sure what happens going forward though!
