Trying to conceive

Hi I'm back after a bit of a long break. Anyway I was given a persona monitor from a lovely lady on here ages ago but i haven't got any instructions. We have just dIg it out of the cupboard and decided to have one last 'go'. I'm sure I read somewhere that if it's 2nd hand it needs to be reset using an old stick or something? Any advice gratefully received.

I know with clearblue it is to be reset with an old stick but its because it remembers old cycles so may get you to test earlier than necessary. The first cycle mine asked day 6 but then the next I think it was day 10.
Have you been able to find the instructions on google?

Yes I did thank you. Apparently you just reset it using one of your sticks and then miss a days testing.

Good luck using it x
I only actually used mine for three cycles, but can't part with it until I get my BFP!

Bit late to this but I was intrigued by this post! I thought this device was to prevent a pregnancy? Is it supposed to be as good to help achieve a pregnancy?

It tells you when you are fertile so that you can avoid having sex so just do the opposite. :)

Ok, I did get that but would it really be as reliable as say a CBFM or the CB digi ov kits? I remember being showed this at our pre-marriage course (!) and the lady saying it absolutely shouldn't be used to achieve a pregnancy as it's not as reliable...... (Makes me wonder!)
