I'm so sorry for your loss Ann-Marie, I can't imagine what you've been through.
I'm sure your body is also going through a lot and will be adjusting to all the different hormones that must be going on! If it is af on the way I hope it's not too bad for you xx

Thanks Carioke. Doing pretty well all things considered, dont know where the strength is coming from. And I'm feeling very positive - excited about getting the go ahead to try again so quickly and do feel up to the task at hand Just not sure about how everything works as I never really read much into it when I was first trying.....I guess I took it a bit of granted, and as much as I dont want to turn crazy trying this time, I just want to understand a bit better, and take more interest in what my body is telling me just in case we have any problems later down the line.
not looking forward to AF at all.....but at least it'll let me know that I'm still working and we can start ttc this months

hi flee24 im also so sorry to hear about your baby, it's understandable you want to be pregnant again. Everybody has a slightly different luteal phase (bit from ovulation to period) with bang on average being 14 days. the good news is, once you know what yours is, it will never waver. the first part of the cycle (period to ovulation) can vary and thats the part that causes cycles to become irregular. so once you know your luteal phase, you'll at least know when to get testing.
Also - the luteal phase doesnt vary by much, i think most people are only 2 or 3 days either side of the 14 day mark. i found out from using clearblue fertility monitor that my luteal phase is always 14 days, despite my cycles ranging from 3-7 weeks! so i always knew when to get peeing on sticks, and when i got bfn i knew to move on mentally rather than keep on wondering. i never thought i had any signs of ovulation, but since using the monitor ive realised loads of signs are there - dull pain in side, discharge, nausia on the actual day, bad skin!! Its so obvious to me now that when we ttc number two i dont think ill need it!
i truelly wish you every bit of luck with getting pregnant, i hope you get some much needed happiness and comfort from your new baby xx

thank you Alfie222 - that's a lot of info that I had no idea about, wouldnt have known where to start. It was 16 days ago I ovulated, and for the last 2 / 3 days I've had cramps so hopefully AF will be with me soon (but hope she's kind!) and hope to have some good news to give hubby - maybe even in time for christmas.

I too understand what your going through, I had a miscarriage in march 15th and was just 5 weeks along when I miscarry. I been waiting for AF to still come so I can start again. Was told that I should receive it in 10 days but still haven't received AF. Still trying to figure it out now..
