hey lady's, I'm wondering if a few of you could help me out? I've recently came off an implant after having for 6 years! im hoping I could be pregnant, my body feels so different the last 2/3 weeks, things are changing very quickly but I don't want to take a test incase of a negative result, could the changes just be my body playing tricks on me because I'm so desperate to fall pregnant? I've spoken to a nurse and she said the chances of faling pregnant are very high after having implant out, im so scared to take a test, how long should I wait to take one? How long did everyone else wait?

Have you had a period since your implant was removed? There is a chance you could fall pregnant with the first ovulation after implant has been taken out so therefore never get a period however I believe it's more likely you'll have a bleed first.
If you are concerned you may have caught soon after having it removed then I would recommend waiting 4 weeks from removal of implant to give your body a chance to have a full cycle and then testing.

I had very strong pregnancy symptoms my first month off the pill, it was just hormones playing tricks

Yes I have had a period since my implant was removed, i thought it could be my body playing tricks on me but as I've had a period since having it removed im not so sure now, xx

normally it's best to test just before period is due or 14 days after ovLatino.
I bought a load of cheap tests off eBay and test most days

Are the tests of eBay any good? Never thought about buying them of there x

Don't know, don't think they are best quality but I just want them to give an indication, when they give me a positive indication ile buy an expensive one. I makes me much less stressed testing every day rather than the big build up and wait

Yeah that makes sense, I might give it a shot, i just don't think I could be able to take all the tests and all being negative, how does it make you feel getting a negative result?x

Because I test most days whether it's time or not I'm used to seeing negatives so I don't expect it to be any different, and I'm like oh well try again tomorrow. This started after an episode last month where I missed a period and had some faint positives, turned out negative blood test And month later a bleed. I'm still not sure what happened to me, so to me this is the best way to deal with it, and unless I see a strong line I won't believe it again
