Hello, in need of some reassurance,
Iv been trying to get pregnant for a while, I done two tests on a Saturday morning (both positive) then done another two tests on the Monday night (both positive) but I just still can't believe I'm pregnant, I have my first midwife appointment in a cupple of days, what's the possibility of having fauls positives, I'm so scared I'm going to have my blood test and they say I'm not pregnant. Thanks

Good Luck, your midwife is the best person to advise you. Some women do get spotting, your midwife may test your hcg levels by blood to check its high enough or depending how far along you are she may send you for an early scan.

I wouldn't worry unless spotting gets heavier

Thanks :) it's heavier then what it started but not heavy enough to show on a panty liner! Thanks for your reassurance I'll let you no how it goes :)

I had three false positives one was a digital one but something told me to do another test and then they all came out negative I was testing before period due though I make sure to wait until after due and the following month I fell pregnant :) x

So happy for you :) I'd posted my positives on here and everyone was saying congratulations your defo pregnant and I think it made the reality that I wasnt even harder so when I see people post there's no such thing as a false positive etc it makes me want to warn other people it's possible x

Just thought I'd add, if any newly pregnant mums to be come on here,
Spotting is normal in pregnancy but you should contact your midwife to advise you what to do, I seen my little baby bubble yesterday at 6 weeks with a good heart beat and I'm still spotting now, of course I have to keep midwife updated if I'm still spotting in two weeks! So if anyone els is out there getting the same, try not to over worry and just get your self checked out to be on the safe side :)
