Hi ladies I know alot of you TTC in the middle, coz that's when alot of ppl think they ovulate. But I just want to say that when I conceived my little girl me n my partner were trying for 2 n a half months n one night we decided to go n stay away in a hotel, that night was the night I conceived and that was the day before my period started. The next day, my period started and carried on as normal, I did not know I was pregnant until my period after that did not show up! I just thought Id let u ladies know because u never know u cud be ovulating any time but in the middle! or maybe i was just lucky! I do not know! I had my 12 week scan n from the dates the lady gave me, I worked out that it was that night! Amazing really! x x

Erm, I think you are a bit confused. The dates they give you at the scan are when you conceived plus 2 weeks before, which on average will take you to the start of your period for everyone. Evereyone will be dated from the start of their period (unless their cycles are very long).

right, she told me how old the fetus was and so i just worked out 11 weeks n so many days back n that was the day that we conceived. I dont think ive had that explained to me, so i just thought that maybe u calculate it from how old the unborn baby is x

You are 2 weeks pg before you even get pg. I found this confusing at first too so dont worry. They calulate your baby from the 1st day of your last period. eg. My last af started 11th May so my baby actually started getting dated from then even though I did not technically concieve until approx 2 weeks later.
They do it this way as everyone ovulates at different times. Thats why they give you 2 weeks to do overdue xx

It confuses a lot of people. When the sonographer or doctor say e.g. you are 12 weeks pregnant, it means you got pregnant 10 weeks ago.

Yes you can absolutely get pregnant the day before your period and continue your cycle as usual. This happened to me with my first and only child. I am absolutely positive of the date bc it was only one time EVER....and all the sonograms were off by saying I concieved the 29th when it was really the 11th and she was even born 13 days earlier than the sonograms as well. They were wrong. Nothing is set in stone babys are miracles and you never know.

I don't know what AF means but i only had sex (both times) ,the day before my period came... Had my period then found out i was pregnant. No sex after period. Also with my 1st born, i had periods each month i was pregnant!

Wow!! This is sooooooo interesting. ;) Oh AF is (Aunt Flow- period- Menstruation)  its ttc (Trying to Conceive ) talk so they can get threw post quicker. I personally had to Google ( Trying to conceive lango)  so I could keep up Lol.. Funny I swore I felt pregnant after my period last month. It was bright red and lasts for only 3 days. I tested negative so I figured no. But the nausea never went away.. Can I please ask you if your cervix is low and hard or high and soft?
