Good idea CC will be good to get to know everyone.
I'm DP, I'm 33 in 2 weeks and have been married to my OH since Oct 2011. We have 2 beautiful German Shepherds and I work in a dull IT sales role.
We've been ttc for a year now and we have an appointment with the Dr booked today for in 2 weeks time to see where we go from here.
CC I'm really sorry for your loss and hope you get a bfp soon xx

I'm Enjayee, am 33 and have been married to my lovely husband for nearly one year. I live in Denmark, am nearly fluent in Danish, and work as a marketing manager in the centre of Copenhagen. We have been TTC only since September/October sort of time last year but took a break in January & February as a gynocologist appointment found something that needed to be removed, and it could have been hindering our chances - it was thought to be a polyp but turned out to be overgrown endometrial lining. We are back on the TTC wagon this week.
Good idea, CC :-)

Good thinking CC, hello everyone.
Well, I'm Sapphire, I'm 28 and got married to H (he's 34) in August 2012. We're both teachers though due to the lack of jobs in my area pre-pregnancy I was only working as a supply teacher and with the price of childcare, we've decided that I will be a sahm until we're ready as a family for me to return to work. Anyway, we were very lucky to conceive on our 3rd cycle and we now have M, who will be 7 months this week. And we are now ttc #2. I had a scan on Monday which showed I have gallstones so I have an appointment with my dr next week so I guess we shall see how that will affect our ttc. Clearly I'm hoping it won't have too much of an impact.

Hi ladies, I’m Claire and I’m 33, married to OH also 33, been married 3 years in July, we have a beautiful 2 year old Shihtzu by the name of Ray, who is my everything, I work in Sales, as does H, we are both very happy in our jobs, have a lovely home and I have just started my driving lessons, we are settled in most things in our life except the fertility part! So here’s the story, we TTC for 3 years with no luck, in November 2012 we started the ball rolling with the GP and referrals and after tests it was discovered that I had Bilateral Hydrosalpinx (fluid filled tubes) the decision was made April 2013 to undergo a Laparoscopy to have my tubes clipped with IVF being our only option of conceiving, it was a hard decision at the time but we knew it was the right one. Started IVF December 2013, we were very lucky to fall first time but sadly I miscarried at 5 weeks. Fortunately we managed to freeze 2 really good quality Embryo’s, so we are preparing to start our frozen embryo transfer May this year where both will be put back.

I'm Lulu and I'm 30, been married to H for nearly 3 years. I work in a boring admin job which is how I have time to post on here :-)
We have been ttc since August / Setempber last year but due to H being on medication, we were unable to give ourselves the best chances until December when he came off it. I recently went to the docs about my pre af spotting which is something I never used to get, she sent me for blood tests and a scan for PCOS, bloods came back ok but I've had to delay the scan until the end of the month.
Nice to hear about everyone xxx

Great idea CC!
Hello everyone, I'm tayto, I'm 32, H is 33 and we've been married since last May. I'm an IT project manager & he is a consultant fire engineer. We're not actively TTC'ing yet as I injured my knee on a ski holiday in January and my consultant has advised to wait until a few months after the op - probably July time at the earliest. This month is the first month I've temped but I've been recording my cycles since November & been on folic acid since then also.
Lovely to hear everyone's stories - fingers crossed for lots of BFPs this year! xx

Fingers crossed they find a reason lulu, I have PCOS too!

So I'm almost 34 and H is the same age. We're from Ireland (me South, him North) but now live in Canterbury, which we really like. We're both academics - I research and teach on criminal law and policing. We're married just over two years and started trying last July. With kind of irregular periods, it wasn't until I started temping that I realised how late in my cycle I ovulate, so I figure the first few attempts we didn't concentrate on the right time of the month. I've had quite a lot of pre-AF spotting, like Lulu, and am having bloods and a scan soon.
I like being able to indulge my constant thoughts about it all on here x

I'm Saffron (25) and married Mr Saffron (35) in 2012. We have no children, but no known issues either. We have been trying since July 2012 with a short break in the name of practicalities and sanity! All manner of tests have been carried out and come back fine, I'm in for a HyCoSy later this month (tube check) at which point if all is fine we will probably work towards a fertility plan...very surreal. I am currently a full time student, retraining as a teacher, and I work a few shifts in a local restaurant to fund my shoe addiction.
I love this board, but a hectic workload and a long TTC journey prevents me from being here as often as I would like.

I'm Peanut (26) and have been married to Mr Peanut (25) since December 2012. We live in East London with our cat Misha. We have been TTC since March last year, but we have put it on hold since H has been unwell and not working. However I have PCOS and (as far as I know) I haven't ovulated since May, so there's very little chance of us getting pregnant without treatment anyway. We have our second fertility appointment in June and H has been doing a lot better so we may be in a better position to begin treatment then, fingers crossed!

I did post a brief introduction in another thread I started.
I'm book worm (26) married to Mr Book worm (27) since August 2013. We have our first fur baby a chocolate Labrador named Poppy who is almost 2. I am a Primary School Teacher and hubby works in a PRU. We began TTC conceive at Christmas when I came off the pill. I will try and post as regularly as I can.

Thank you all for introducing yourselves and sharing your stories.
I'm PiTheta (26) have been married to Mr PT(26) since August 2012. We live in Yorkshire although neither of us are originally from here. We are both maths teachers in an 11-18 school. Met at university and have been together ever since.
Came off the pill august 2013 after being on for 7 years had quite normal cycles for first few months. Started actively TTC nov/dec and of course that is when my cycles decided they weren't going to be 'normal' anymore. Hoping to get a bit of advice from Dr soon as to what to do about long cycles and the implications on TTC.
Looking forward to following all of your journeys hopefully to the BFP!
