has anyone any experience of cycles being all messed up after late miscarriage?
we lost our little boy at 21 weeks in March, I bled for a few weeks after and then had a regular period. I then waiting 36 days for my next period and 41 days for the next.
is this normal? It's very frustratinf as we have been ttc for 2 months now. I've tried pinpointing my Ovulation using bbt and ov sticks but my temp chart is all over the place and the sticks never show a positive.
sometimes the sticks sow a fairly dark line but still not positive.
any advice would be so appreciated thank you!

Didn't want to read and run... and i'm sending you big virtual hugs.
I've had two miscarriages, but none as late as you, and it took my body quite a while to get back into synch after the first one (the second miscarriage was a twin pregnancy, so hard to figure out anything after that).
Keep doing what you're doing - chart your periods and using ovulation sticks - are you using them continuously after a period as you might be ovulating really soon after a period or really late - there's no way of knowing except using them daily i reckon.
Give your body time to heal and recover, but defo use the sticks as they really helped me, and have fun babydancing - you'll get there again.

I'm over the moon to have gotten a smiley face this morning! not sure which fertile day we are as I last used a clearblue at the weekend. Needless to say we dtd straight away sorry tmi!
when would be best to BD next? Hubs doesn't want his supply to be low and not replenish!

Ahhh that's awesome! Do the BD every other day for a few days and make sure you keep a note so you can get a rough idea of where this ovulation might be happening in your cycle! Good luck!

Hi Gse, no luck yet I'm afraid. My cycles are still all over the place which is quite frustrating. i tried acupuncture this cycle and I'm anxiously coming to the end of my 2 week wait. Fingers are tightly crossed!!
thank you for asking

How long have you waited for cycles to be normal. My mc was 4 weeks yesterday and I have no.idea what's going on
17/11/2015 at 14:20
My cycles still aren't normal Although I conceived immediately after coming off the pill so this may be normal for me. I lost my LO in march.
i know it's hard to hear but you need to give not only your body to heal but your emotions to settle too. I didn't accept this but it really is true.
wishing you all the best for your future ttc journey
