Getting Pregnant <
Trying to conceive

Just wondered if anyone else is in a similar situation to me or has any tips.
Came off the pill begining of October I had a period shortly after and then two more both 5 weeks apart the next two months. After that I didn't have a period for just over 10 weeks. I'm obviously finding it really difficult to chart my ovulation.
My OH is working away mon-fri until September so we only get weekends to try at the moment, so I don't see the point in seeing my doctor until he comes back and we can try on a regular basis.
More than anything im struggling with the want and need to be a mom and feel like im getting nowhere in a hurry. I try to forget it all and just think it will happen when it happens but sometimes it all just gets a bit frustrating. Only been trying for 6 months and it's driving me mad already constantly overthinking every feeling I have.
Any advice from people who are in a similar situation?

If you can, get help asap Most doctors won't consider starting intervention until you've been having regular sex for a year but it's worth getting the ball rolling. I say this only because a year down the line feels soul destroying (like a horrid landmark... ) and sometimes it can take a while to get appointments in place. If you start things off now, then if it comes to being a year down the line, you've already got some idea of getting help, for example.
Hope you work it out xx

I might wait to see if I get a period again in the next few weeks and if not then I will make a docs appointment.
I'm hoping that it might be that the pill was taking it's time to get out of my system and hopefully now 6 months on there is more chance of regular cycles and conceiving. Wishful thinking today haha

Sorry for the late reply, I was taking pre pregnancy vitamins with folic acid in etc for a month or so but being new to all this ttc and baby stuff I wasn't really sure if you were supposed to take it for a long time before conceiving but I now I relaise that I need to be and I've been and brought some more and am going to start them tomorrow.
I've got slightly sore boobs atm and I'm sure that I'm just imagining symptoms
I hope that you concieve soon hun, if it's any consolation a work friend of mine has been trying for 2 years or so and was told she probably wouldn't be able to have kids, she's just announced that she is pregnant so stay hopeful
