Getting Pregnant <
Trying to conceive

Just wondering really because I'm CD32 but my cycles are still all over but I had a few pains which felt like period pains and a little backache (which isn't a usual PMS symtpom for me) but no bleed. The pains have stopped now but I was just wondering if anyone knew what to expect? I'm reluctant to do a test because deep down I think I'm not pregnant and I thing a BFN will be a too much of a kick rather than just AF arriving. I realise this sounds strange but I really don't want to see a BFN. I'm also not sure how much of it is in my head because I'm waiting and looking too hard for pregancy symptoms

Hmm deep down I thought I wasn't pregnant as well, and was gearing up for the "no, not this month" talk with OH. Then I had my bfp. I only tested because AF was 2 days late, and whereas my sore boobs usually get better once AF is here, they were worse, and whereas I usually get pre-AF cramps, this time mild cramps only started once AF was overdue. Very VERY similar symptoms to AF though, and had I not been ttc and symptom spotting, I probably still wouldn't have tested even now, just thought AF was late. Do you have any vague idea when AF is due?

Well my shortest cycle has been 31 days but never back to back but I have had two 31 day cycles so going by that it would have been yesterday. I havent got sore boobies either but again that isn't one of my usual PMS symptoms

Well if you think a bfn would upset you more, leave off testing for a while maybe? If still no AF over/after the weekend, have another think about how you feel and maybe test then? Do you know when you ovulated? That may help you decide when to test as well.

I think I will hang on until I get some other kind of symptom as well (my longest cycle was aver 70 days) before testing. I *think* I ovulated on 11.9.13 but I did have EWCM twice this month (DTD on both occasions to be on the safe side)

If only I had a magic window inside your belly to see what's going on!
It could be implantation, pregnancy stretching and adjusting, AF pains, even ovulation pains. I'd test when you're ready*
*unless you're planning on going wild with drink and drugs any time soon, in which I recommend testing before hand ;-)

Haha no Ducky, nothing like that! Thanks for the advice so far ladies, much appreciated :) I'll hang on (for as long as possible before it gets the better of me)

It depends how much it'd upset you?
Personally to me it sounds as though it could be implantation pains. I got them and then stretching pain right though to about 9/10 weeks. I'd test, but I can understand if you'd rather hold off.

Tbh, I would test now, but expect a negative. That way, you won't be too upset, but will still have an answer. I would need to know, good luck!
