Trying to conceive

Hi- im new to this page and i am looking for advice. We are trying for our first and today I have taken a test and I'm sure I can see faint line, does this mean it is positive or is there such thing as false positive.
Ive looked online and there is so many conflicting stories I think I've confused myself and I really don't want to get excited if it could be negative.
look forward to getting some advice 😊

Hi I am new to this aswell I took 3 pregnancy test last week and they came back like this with the line being very faint. So I went and got a clear blue one and it came back negative. I am also on the contraceptive Implant so I don't know if I am or not.

this is exactly what my tesco own brand test looked like. And I did a clear blue digital and it came back negative. But I did a frer (first response early reader) and it came bk like this
The clear blue test are not as sensitive. Some women don't even get positives on those even when they are into their pregnancy. My advice is, get a frer test. They are very sensitive. Can detect pregnancy upto 6days before you your period is due. Gl

oh and this is what my frer came back like the next morning using fmu
but then did a £1 test next morning and you could barely see the line. Must not be very sensitive but I'm still worrying as my last pregnancy was a chemical pregnancy. I am doing another frer on Sunday and hoping for an even stronger line and then I will relax and start to believe.
but it is highly unlikely u get a false positive. the test can only detect the pregnancy hormone so there must be something there. a line is a line in my opinion

The 3 test I took came back exactly like this then the clear blue came back negative and cause I am on the implant I just assumed I wasn't pregnant. But after seeing all the other faint positives I am starting to think other wise. My oh is picking up another teat on his way from work as it has been over a week since I took the tests. Do you think it should come up more clearer if I am pregnant?

What brand tests have u been using? Maybe get your oh to get a first response early reader.
Dont waster your money on the clear blue digital because mine are coming up negative even after getting the positive on the first response. And the same with the cheap £1 ones. as u can see from my pics, the first response had got stronger so go for that one if u can.
and as for the test coming up clearer, I couldn't say 100% because everyones levels rises at different speeds.
Let me know how u get on xx

I can't remember the name of the test but it was like 2.99 and you got 3 in a pack, just bought them as they were the same ones I used when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter. Thanks soo much I will let you know how I get on xx

because when I tested with the first response early reader and got a two positivea, i tested again with a cheap test and got this
some test are just more sensitive than others but I have heard the first response are the best ones xx

Ok thanks, I feel soo nervous about it now because obviously with me being on the implant I wasn't wantin or expecting another little one the now but if I am I will be shocked and my oh will be over the moon he's been wanting another one for a while now x

I am going through so many different emotions myself. I wanted another little one but didn't expect it to happen so quickly as this is only our 1st month of trying. But I am definately not complaining :) I am just getting worried as my last pregnancy was a chemical pregnancy so it is hard to get excited at the minute xx

Am sorry to hear that, you pregnancy tests look really clear I would say you definitely were, if my test comes back positive tonight even a faint positive again I am just going to phone up my doctor or a midwife and see what they say xx
29/12/2015 at 18:30
yeah that's the best thing to do.
I am going to do my other test on Sunday and if it comes bk positive then il be strait down the docs Monday to get it confirmed.
I have been getting the most terrible hot flushes the last two evenings. Feel like my cheeks are on fire lol
have u been getting any symptoms at all? Xx
29/12/2015 at 18:40
I have been getting back pain and really bad heartburn and I have never had heartburn until I fell pregnant with my daughter and now I am getting it again. Never felt so scared about something in my life lol xx
29/12/2015 at 18:50
Its funny u should say that because i have also been having heartburn most days and i only really got it when i was pregnant with my son.
Try not to worry too much. I know if u get a bfp itl be so unexpected but if u have got pregnant on the implant then maybe its the way its meant to be. Things happen for a reason xx

A never had heartburn till I fell pregnant it's weird, and that's true if I am once it sinks in I will probably be over the moon. I have always sayed I would want 2 kids just didn't think it would be as soon if I am xx

I took this pregnancy test and both came back negative. I am now three days late for my period with no sigh of it coming. My expected period was dec 27, i took the test the 28 and now its the 29. Should i test again or just wait till my next expected period
29/12/2015 at 19:47
Try a frer (first response early reader) it is far more sensitive than some other tests. it can detect pregnancy from 6 days before your period is due xx
30/12/2015 at 15:28
Well I took my other teSt this morning and they came back negative they were tesco ones so am guessing I am not pregnant. Just don't understand how the other 3 came back faint positive x

Laird if I was you I would make an appointment to get checked over by a doctor anyway, maybe you have some sort of hormone imbalance
