Hi madcat. Sorry to hear about the failed IVF and the frustration you must have felt at having to get to that point before finding out about your own egg situation. I found fertility friends.co.uk to be a good forum that had a thread dedicated to my IVF centre and there were definitely ladies on there using donor eggs. There were also many success stories from donor eggs and/or sperm so you will find many to talk to.
Good luck for it all xx

yeah kittykat I'm a member there too but if one lady from my clinic says shes egg sharing/donating whatever then I'll always be left wondering.. so think I'll join in the general thread there, instead.
just nice to come back to old haunts :)
Its been really frustrating. Remember when my local hospital knocked me back initially? I could still have had a low reserve back then and never have known hence why we went elsewhere in the country. Just wish the amh test was done before you're put in IVF waiting lists. We only have one shot at this due to finances so fingers xd eh. x

Hi madcat, I'm currently pregnant after having DEIVF treatment earlier in the year. My AMH is low too (0.6) and had I zero response on 2 IUI cycles last year before deciding it was the best route for us. I hope that offers some hope and if there is anything I can do to offer support or answer questions you have, do let me know.
I too wish AMH testing was offered as a matter of course x

I had mine tested before I even started IUI so I'm amazed it's not standard practise as it's such a crucial test. And I totally agree about sticking to the general threads and actually was thinking about those when I suggested it-hadn't even thought about the implications of ladies donating on the same thread as ladies receiving. Good luck with it all-I really hope this is your time xxx

Really sorry to hear this, can only imagine how gutted you must feel. I really hope the donor list moves quickly and that you can find some good information and support. wishing you loads of good vibes for the rest of your journey x

Hi MB, I have just wondered back on here too. I could pretty much have written your post, non existent AMH here, tried private IVF a year ago and didn't respond to the highest doses, one follicle so abandoned before egg collection. We are also on the donor path (my update is on DTTC a thread). As you may or may not remember I am not in the UK but just wanted to say hello anyway. March isn't too far away. Over here there is no waitlist as such, you have to be matched as the whole thing is completely altruistic, illegal to pay a donor here. Keep us posted on how things are going!

Thanks all, apologies for taking so long to respond. Nice to see familiar faces and meet new ones. Need to get back popping all the vitamins and getting the diet back on track, both of us..but will enjoy the festivities first and then take it from there.
