Getting Pregnant <
Trying to conceive

I came off the pill 10 days ago and had an withdrawel bleed. I have some as much research possible to work out when I would be ovulating as we want to start trying straight away! Is it possible to work out when I am ovulating by my discharge?
Also wondered if anyone else can share how quickly they got pregnant after coming off the pill/how quickly they ovulated.

I was on the Evra patch, which is just like the pill but you change it once a week instead of taking a pill everyday. I took my patch off last week in August and had a normal period. I didn't realise I would be catching on so quick. I fell pregnant quick. I'm due in May as from my last period makes me 6 weeks 4 days!
it depends on many factors but i'd more than likely wait until you have a normal period and then take an ovulation test. To work out your most fertile days begin to take a note the length of your menstrual cycle and look out of signs of hormonal and physical changes within your body. You may notice these signs about 5 days before you ovulate. It usually occurs around 12 to 14 days before your period starts.
EG: if you have a 28 day cycle, count the first day of your period as one and your fertile days will be roughly around days 12 to 17.
Your mucus will become different. After your period has finished you mucus will increase in amount and have a different texture. This will show you are about to ovulate! good luck x
