Trying to conceive

I have previously started a thread but as I can't find it I will sum up what I was saying in the last one!!
I have been taking the mini pill Cerazette for nearly 3 years without a period, and we decided we would stop it to then at some point try for baby number 2.
I stopped after taking about a weeks worth of a packet and took my last one on 5th June, and then last night when I got up for a wee I wiped and red blood was on the tissue (sorry for the tmi!) This morning then it got heavier and more of it, so I am nw presuming this is my first period!
I had lots of symptoms that could have been a number of things, but I am now taking them to mean I was ovulating and then was 'due on',
Glad that things are working out, but had forgotten period pains were so severe at times!! Yikes!!! Good job I have a shop I can walk to where I live lol!
Just to reassure others that even though there are some people who take months or even years for their bodies to get back to normal, you may be like myself and be lucky enough that your body is bouncing back to normal super quick!
Good Luck to all, and if anyone ever wants someone to talk to, just leave me a message either here or privately, happy to talk!

Ur body is prob just getting used to not having the pill in it's system. My first ever period was brown n something of nothing really, u may even find that they will be a little irregular to begin with aswell! before I went on the implant my periods were every 4wks lasting 7days, after being on it for 2yrs with no period mine ended up being every 5-6wks and only lasted 3 days! it's prob just ur body flushing everything through, I mean it's not a natural thing stopping your period for 3yrs is it, so it's gotta start getting back into the rhythm of it all over again! X

Thanks both, as long as all is normal I will just let it all run its course! I had taken three pills out of a new pack if that helps? Thanks again, our bodies are indeed wonderful things!!! x
