Getting Pregnant <
Trying to conceive

Unfortunately I suffered a miscarriage 2 days ago, i had my internal scan yesterday to confirm this and they said it had all come away naturally and everything is ok.
I have been told that my husband and I can start trying again straight away if we wish to do so. We are both happy to do this as we was only just getting our heads around the idea of having a little one running around and now sadly that has been taken away from us.
I will feel much better about my next pregnancy knowing that my family will be ok with it as i was worrying way to much about what they would all think!
Moral of the story, i am just wondering what the chance of getting pregnant straight away? I am going to carry on taking my folic acid prescribed from the doctor and the nurse said i will be more fertile over the next 6 weeks.
Thanks in Advance

Hiya hon, sorry to hear about your miscarriage. From what i've experienced and read on this forum, it's generally a good idea to have a period before you start trying again. But i've heard of women falling pregnant again straight away, but with others it can take months. Sorry that's not much help, but do hang in there. it will happen again x
