Thanks ell, I’m not in a good headspace at the moment just trying to stay strong for my little boy and my marriage, I’ll be fine tho.
im not going back on the pill or taking any contraception we are just going to have to be extra carefulmy cycles do seem to of regulated back to an average of 28 days now as I’ve had a lot of cm over the past couple of days, then when the time is right we will start our ttc journey again,
hopefully ypu will of long had your bfp by then. How many dpo are you now? I’ll be keeping everything crossed for you your time is going to come very soon,
Definitly keep us up to date with your husbands results hopefully that is something else that can be ticket off your worry list.

Rosie I’m so sorry to hear that and really hope you’re holding up as well as possible.
Babysparkle, I’m sorry that you’re putting it on hold :( You must be feeling deflated but hop you’ll be back on the babgwagon shory. Fingers crossed.
I was due between Tuesday - Friday but haven’t started yet. I’ve been feelig crampy, nauseous sometimes and my appetite has really increased so I’ve bought a HPT. I wasn’t planning to do one so I’ve been drinking tea all day. I know it’s about concentrating the urine so should I not drink for 2 hours and then take it? Also, can I pee between now and then or do I have to hold it? Thanks

Babysparkle, I’m really sorry to hear that but you’re so right in doing what’s best for you and your family. I hope everything settles down at home soon for you.
Ribs, yeah I think you should leave it as long as you can without seeing before you take the test.

I got a BFN. I’m actually unaffected by it. I guess my mind has given up hoping. On we go xx

kmviv I am really glad that the scan went well for you 😊 It is good to see some positive news in this thread still :)
Rosie174 I am sorry to hear about what happened to you. I can’t imagine how hard it must be for you. I personally always think of pregnancy of high risk change, as people in current world stop to think about that as we have such advances in medicine, but it is still completely new amazing thing happening to your body and you never know how a minor thing (that you can’t even influence) might change it from day to day, or even hour to hour... I hope you will be able to get your rainbow baby soon
Ell01 I know it might be hard, but try to stay positive, all of us are different and some people really don’t get any symptoms at all, others get loads. When you are TTC, most of women will actually be seeing things that might be once mentioned as pregnancy symptom and they will start to think that they are pregnant but they are not, and for most of us, we will only remember it as pregnancy sign, we will not remember it as "sign" for all the months we were not pregnant. 2WW is hard. Very hard. What I started to tell myself few days ago is that I am Schrodinger-like pregnant. I don’t know if you heard about the Schrodinger’s cat, it was an experiment in 1930s but the point from it was that cat in box could be in same time both dead (killed by poisoning in the box) or still alive (the poison was not dispersed) but the thing is that you don’t see the inside until you open it, so at the same time the cat is both dead and alive. That is what I am applying to myself, that I can be pregnant, until I "open the box" and pee on stick on Sunday. Just trying to keep my spirits in the actual 50/50 mood as I don’t want to be closer to the either bit as I don’t want to be super disappointed, although I really want to see those 2 lines there.
Ribs86 maybe your pee was too diluted, try using morning urine :) and if the af is still late you never know...

Aw Babysparkle I feel for you, you might be back on the ttc journey sooner than you think though. I’m not sure of the circumstances but I’ve found at least ttc can be so challenging and can cause so many issues, and take away happiness, enjoyment etc. out of other aspects of life. A proper break might be just the ticket, and when you start again it might be the same as with your first and you catch straight away <3
I’m now 4dpo. No inclination of anything. It’s starting to really get us down, and I’m doubting if it will ever happen. It is not as though we are just having regular unprotected sex throughout my cycle, we are timing it as perfectly as possible and have been for each cycle… Starting to think I had my miracle happen and it isn’t going to happen again. Maybe there is something wrong and when we fell pregnant before it was a 1 in a million or something. Just holding out for the year mark and praying it happens.
Ribs I’m sorry it was a bfn it’s so deflating. Will you test again today? <3
Everness thank you for your kind words, half the battle is staying mentally positive. You’re right it’s such a mind game this ttc stuff! Thank you for your insights I’m going to look up the experiment!
Everything crossed for you! <3

How long is it recommended after missing a period you should take a test? this whole thing is so new to me so glad I have this group.
I don't really want to take one and not be pregnant. I'm only two days late so tempted to leave it a few days still.
does anyone have any thoughts.
08/03/2018 at 12:10
KellyY, a first response test can pick up on a pregnancy up to as earlier as 6 days before your period is due so I’m sure if you took that it would be fairly accurate xx
08/03/2018 at 12:24
thanks KLS92. I might leave it until tomorrow and if no period pick up a test. I have a night out on Saturday and won't want to drink if pregnant. I don't feel pregnanct so I think I could just be late.
08/03/2018 at 12:28
Kelly sounds good. Best you know before Saturday either way x

Ladies :) first of all I want to wish you all HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY. I hope all of you are having great days, I hope that those around you appreciate how hard you are trying and how amazing is anything you do! :))
Ell01 unless you start to really want TTC you have no idea how hard it can be... it them seems silly trying so hard to prevent it, when it is so hard to actually happen when you want it so badly.. stay positive :) you still have 10 days or so of 2WW wait ahead so you can’t be sure you are or are not pregnant :)) Fingers crossed!
KellyY are you sure that you are late? if you ovulated later on it might be that af is not due yet :) but still FRER could be helpful :) but if you want to wait do it tomorrow/Saturday that you know what you stand on for the Sat evening :) although, even when you are pregnant, you can have a glass of wine and nothing bad would happen :)
I am on 9/10 dpo and now on a point where I don’t think anything :D I am not seeing anything, but good is that I am not having any headache so far as that is my usual PMS
08/03/2018 at 18:16
I Think my cycles all over the place. I am just going to leave it. If I don’t get a period in the next few weeks I might go to the doctors. Although I am not sure what they would actually do.
08/03/2018 at 18:19
Thanks all - looking forward to hearing all about your ttc journeys & beginning ours again xx
09/03/2018 at 10:26
Everness that is so true! Thank you, we will see what the next few days holds!! A lack of the usual pms symptoms could be a good sign!! I've had a few stabbing pains in my left breast this morning but it seems to have stopped now, so just the usual pms twinges I think.
Kelly I hope that bfp is on its way!
Rosie, I hope your bfp comes very quickly for you x

Update from me, my husbands sperm analysis has all come back normal. At least if there is anything going on with me that's one less factor to have to deal with xx
09/03/2018 at 14:10
Just a message to cheer you up. A friend who has been trying for nearly two years had her BFP today!!!! xxxxxxxxx the month she got engaged to her boyfriend l, the Month she didn’t stress about it or worry she fell!!!! So happy for her xxxx
09/03/2018 at 14:37
Aww Ell thats great news! Really pleased for you! Keeping my fingers crossed for this month for you both.
Roobear, lovely for your friend and nice to hear something so hopeful :)
09/03/2018 at 15:31
I took a test and not pregnant so I am just late. it's only the second month of being off the pill so I would have been surprised to get pregnant. I would be happy with getting my period and getting the cycles into a routine. First was 31 days and currently on 34 days. fingers crossed I level out soon.
If my cycle is all over the place is it even worth taking the ovulation test as I wouldn't know when you test? what do you do?
Roobear - lovely news from your friends. you hear often that when the stress goes that's when it happens for people.
09/03/2018 at 15:36
sorry to hear about your bfp😔 defo keep tacking for ovulation - you’ll get to know your cycle soon enough. One thing that helped me was keeping an eye on my cm - youll notice it changing through the moment, usually when it’s clear and stringy then your ovulation is near xx
09/03/2018 at 15:37
Sorry Kelly, my typos couldn’t be any worse... your bfn..😔😔😔xx
