Hey everyone! Looking to make some friends. Me and my husband are currently trying to concieve baby number 1. Just heading into our 4th cycle! Still no BFP yet ☹️. Trying to keep positive though as I know it can take a while for a healthy couple to conceive.

Good luck fingers crossed, we have PCOS and EDS and had been trying for a 18 months ttc, we were going through the last phase of tests to be given clomid to help getting pregnant, and by chance never thought it would happen we found out we were pregnant, 1st baby total shock, now 5 months pregnant, so keep trying it will happen to you when you least expect it, best advice is try to relax as much as ppossible

I Hope you don't mind me joining!
Congratulations Babysparkle on getting married and Lexie and your pregnancy!
Myself and my husband are TTC baby #1 and we are on our 6th cycle now! I'm 27 and have been using OPKs for the past 3 months and getting a positive on CD16/17. I'm currently in the TWW on this 6th cycle!
Fingers crossed for us all <3 xx

Thank you Ell01 :)
lots of baby dust to you for this cycle bringing you a BFP :) keep us up to date with any symptoms.
I am currently on cd11 and started using OPK's at the middle of last week just so i really don't miss the surge this cycle.
I am also 27 :)
I wish you the best of luck x

Thank you! Lots to you too, hope it's a brilliant end to the year for you, getting married and getting your BFP!
I've been using the ClearBlue OPK and have found it really helpful and reassuring as I was convinced I wasn't ovulating before using them!
I will keep you posted, I'm 3dpo today and haven't really noticed anything out of the ordinary except (TMI Sorry!) a sore nipple but only on one side! This doesn't usually happen but every cycle I've noticed different things that didn't happen the previous month.
I was symptom spotting like crazy the first few months and couldn't imagine how I was going to get through who knew how many more months of doing that, but it's actually the first month I'm feeling quite good, and not reading into anything too much.
Let us know how you get on with the OPK's xx

I am actually really looking forward to christmas this year, Our son is at a lovely age now where he can open his own presents and watch movies together. although we did take him to see santa at the weekend an he was not best pleased.
I hope you have a lovely end to the year a bfp for christmas would be amazing.
I do have the clear blue OPK which i started using today as i'm hoping within the next week i should be ovulating as like you i'm worried that I am not but have been using the cheap amazon opk aswell but they really confuse me.
sore nipple could be a could sign that was the first symptom I noticed first time.
Its crazy the emotions you go through when ttc some days i feel really positive then others i just feel like it might never happen again, I know its only been 3 months and some women have been trying for a lot longer but is still disheartening when you get a bfn.
Fingers crossed this is the month for both of us x

Awww Babysparkle that's lovely that your son is at an age where he can understand and you can do more things together. How old is he? Haha hope the Santa visit wasn't too traumatic...!
Thank you, we got married this year too so it would be perfect, we've been TTC since getting married.
The Clearblue OPK is so simple, and getting that smiley face almost feels like a BFP the first time, I'm sure your mind will be put at ease once you get yours. I think it's natural to worry especially when it feels like it will happen straight away given how much effort we go to for years to prevent it happening! And also for you conceiving so quickly the first time but I'm sure you will get your BFP very soon!! I know quite a few people who conceived their first in the first month of trying, but then it took a bit longer for the second to come along. The chances of getting pregnant each month even with perfect timing are slim so it makes sense to take a while not that that makes it any less excruciating every month. Seeing those negative tests is just so gutting.
I'm the exact same with trying to be positive but then feeling like it will never happen, and then feeling guilty as some women have to go through this for years, and we've only been trying 6 months! It's such a rollercoaster but it will be worth it, hang in there!
And oooohhh that's interesting! Double fingers crossed for me and my sore nipple in that case haha!! xxx

He has just gone 2 so his little personality is changing so much but in a good, he loved the day until we got to the big man then he ran into a corner and hid ha.
awww congratulations on your marriage do the wedding blues ever go away?i feel so sad that it is all over.
fingers crossed i think i would feel alot more relaxed seeing that big smiley face, just the confirmation that i am ovulating and knowing exactly when would help. the first time we were very lucky the first OPK i took was positive so we had none of this questioning everything.
you will definitely get there and they say it can take a healthy couple 6 months to conceive so this could be the month :)
haha bet you have never been so happy lol have sore nipples.
05/12/2017 at 16:15
Awww bless him, bet you can't wait to see his face on Christmas Day!
Thank you! And yes they do, but I remember the feeling well hahah, it's so depressing! It all goes so quickly on the day doesn't it! Hope you had a wonderful time though, and hopefully the festive season will take your mind off the wedding blues!
Exactly you will feel lots better once you get the reassurance, did you get the dual hormone one, or the other one that shows you the LH surge only? I got the dual one, and was gobsmacked when I got the first flashing smiley (indication oestrogen is on the rise and that the LH surge is going to follow if you don't have that one) but then it was agonising each day I got a flashing smiley (4 it turned out) as I was worried I'd never get a solid one (LH surge) but it came, and has been pretty much the same pattern each month.
Thank you, hahahah yes I've never been so happy let's see if it comes to anything and roll on your big smiley! xx

Hey everyone I’m CD 5 today. Hopefully this will be our month 🤞🏻. I have taken OPKs in the past but have never used the clearblue one. How do you use them? Is it just once a day you test?
05/12/2017 at 16:33
Hi Cat! Yes here's hoping the last month of 2017 is the lucky month for us all!! It's really good I've found, the instructions tell you when to start testing depending on how long your cycle is, and I just usually use one a day, I've found I tend to go from negative to a flashing smiley for 4 days and get the solid smiley in the morning on the 5th day, usually on CD17/18 for me! xx
05/12/2017 at 20:13
I’m not too sure which one I have got actually I know it is suppose to give you your 4 most fertile days should get 2 smiley face days and 2 flashing smiley face daHe is that the same ell01?
ive got all my fingers and toes crossed for you with my son I got my bfp about 9dpo and I’d been having sore boobs nipples for about 6 days,
Hi can I think the clear blue ones are the best to take as they are alot easier to understand, I have been using the cheap amazon ones recently but have started withclear blue so I can definatly pin point when I ovulate,
babydust to is all that this is our month x
