    Hi Ladies,

I had an ERPC yesterday, following the discovery of an empty embryonic sac at eight weeks.

I feel ok and quite positive about the future. I'm concentrating on recovering at the moment, but we plan to start trying again as soon as I've had a normal period. Hopefully that will happen in the next 4-6 weeks.

I just wanted to say 'Hi' and introduce myself, and if anyone has any tips or advice for me I'd love to hear from you.

    Thank you and good luck.

    B x

Take every day as it comes as sometimes you will feel fine and other days it will hit you like a smack in the face. As soon as you are ready you can start trying again. This is a lovely forum and im sure everyone will make you very welcome. Hopefully it wont be too long till you are getting into the new forum (if we get it) 'pregnant after a m/c'.
Take care sending you big cyber hugs ((((()))) xx

    Hi B

Im so sorry for your loss. It must all be feeling quite raw still for you. But you have definately come to the right place. Here we cry, we laugh, we shout obscenities about the things that people say to us (but they mean well, surely...) and we sometimes talk rubbish! We all have our up and down days but we always bounce back when we are feeling down as there are always loads of us here to help. You are not alone babe.

I personally have come leaps and bounds by being on here for the past 6 weeks after my mc / erpc. I feel stronger and more able to cope. It feels good to give back too, when you are high on PMA and others are not so.

Like the girls say, the best advice is to take each day as it comes. Have no expectations, your emotions and hormones will be all over the place.

You say you are waiting for your first AF before ttc again. Also know that you don't necessarily have to - the docs all recommend it for easier dating if you conceived straight away, and to ensure your body and mind are ready. But there is nothing harmful or risky if you decide to go ahead straight away. Its a personal choice and you may even change your mind several times over the next month. Some of us found we wanted to to try and move on, and we all so much wanted our pregnancy to happen, not that we could ever replace out little angels that we have lost. Just take it as it comes love.

And know that we are always here for you. xx
