Hope you are all okay and keeping warm in these cold temperatures!
Some good news to share, as you may or may not know me, I have a 3 and a half year old little boy, and we were pregnant again last year, but suffered a miscarriage in October...
After taking some time to come to terms with what happened, we have now decided to try again!
I took my last mini pill on Wednesday, mid way through the pack, so we will just see what happens from here on in....
Folic Acid tablets being taken daily!!
Best of Luck to you all for sticky beans, safe pregnancies, beautiful bumps and healthy deliveries of bouncing bundles of joy!!
Big Hugs xxx

Hi alfiesmummy1! This is my first time ttc, came off bc beginning of Feb, had AF 20th Feb which I believe was quite good as some wait a lot longer!! Until my next AF won't be sure of my cycle so lots of BDing here as well as you never know.
Wishing you lots of luck with ttc and I look forward to keeping up with you and fingers crossed that we both get a bfp soon!

Hi Steph1209! Thanks for replying!
All sounds good so far with you, sending you loads of luck and baby dust, my top tips to you trying for the first time would be; go with the flow, enjoy yourselves andjust relax! Everything happens when the time is right, so don't get stressed and let nature do the rest!!
Keep in touch!

It is great this site, I found it fab to talk to everyone when I was preggers in 2010/2011, great support and you can talk openly without friends and family finding out too soon!

We are 4 months ttc first. I have learnt after the disappointment of AF showing up, to try and relax not to think too much and go with the flow. I am using this approach this month and i knw I should be fertile from tomoro onwardsif i ovulated ofcourse. so we will see what happens. Am considering opk's so i can see what my body is doing or not doing? Any advice on that?
Last month i stressed alot and it made my AF go irregular and i dont want that happening again. I do use Ovia app to track and record where possible. Good luck to all, n share tips. B happy.

Hi RosieCharliex and welcome, feel free to join us!
Sorry to hear your news, nobody can prepare you for a miscarriage... big hugs xx
I can't advise personally on tracking charts etc, but there are lots of helpful sites online.
My best advice as always is to relax; almost forget you are actively ttc and just enjoy being together etc, and see what happens!

Hi Flaxley, welcome!
It is one of the most stressful times ttc, if you overthink about it.
When we were ttc the first time, a friend of mine was also trying. We fell pregnant very quickly, just by putting it our minds, and letting it happen in its own time. They had charts and temperature things etc, and it took them 18 months to conceive.
I think if you are just enjoying each other, and having intercourse on a regular basis not just when the time is right, that helps. Also, the usual tricks of lying still afterwards for about 15/20mins either on your side or just with your legs tucked up and read a book or watch telly or something, give it chance for the little swimmers to work their way up!
Like you say, be happy everyone, it's not a race and the more you relax and almost forget about what you are hoping will happen, and then sometime soon I am pretty sure we will all be chattering about bumps and scans and allsorts!!

Thats great advice alfiesmummy!! How charming!! I couldnt agree more, just enjoy yr time and by gods willing we will all be blessed.
on the note of keeping them swimmers in... I get UTI and so i go to toilet straight afterwards, what can i do about that. I don't know about you ladies but they all fall out me when i get up ????????????

I think you might be okay for a few mins at least before you dash to the loo, always worth a try!

So im supose to be in my fertile window from today. Just took ovulation test that was negative
Makes you think why worry abt BDing if im not ovulating..
14/03/2015 at 15:56
That is why I don't use tests, I just think it makes for more worrying and stress having a 'window' to work in. If you just go with the flow a little bit more, then it will be less of a chore and more enjoyable etc xx
14/03/2015 at 17:16
First time i tried them. to b honest i tried it to see if i ovulate or not. Im starting to think i dont which could b worrying

You will be doing hun, they just might not be that accurate those tests... go off yourchanges in discharge, that is a big factor and try taking your temperature etcand you might notice that way.
