Did we all have good weekends? The Christening was lovely, plus there was lots of cake!
Dolly - how are you doing? Is your appointment tomorrow?
Tayto - I have some CB Digi OPK questions? Can I pick your brain a little bit please?
Hi to all who follow - will pop back later. x

Sally - Mmmm cake, everything is good when cake is around! Glad you had a nice day :)
Had a chilled weekend really. I was actually really tired so didn't do much, went for acupuncture Friday, and I hated it, the week before it was great totally relaxed me but my last session I felt like ripping the needles out, I was not relaxed in the slightest, I think it was the worry about my embryos being ok so now I'm in 2 minds about what to do because my next session is booked after my egg transfer and I don't think I should go. I've got a few more days to mull it over but I don't think it's for me. Had my driving lesson yesterday, first for a few weeks with being on holiday it went ok but I was exhausted by the end of it. Happy I did it though and getting back into the swing of things. For now I'm just counting down the hours until Thursday, I'm hoping I get there without any problems.

Sorry for not getting on much, work is really busy.
Claire - fingers crossed for Thursday for you. Not sure acupuncture would be for me either.
Sally - anywhere with lots of cake sounds fab to me! Who's christening was it?
Afm I had a lovely weekend. Went to prezzo and the posh cinema near us on Friday with my H. Then Saturday into town with my (not so) little sister to sort her new glasses and contact lenses. Then I went with my friend to collect her wedding dress. It's gorgeous and she's borrowing my veil which is lovely. Then went to a housewarming. Didn't get in until 5am! Had a lazy day yesterday, h made a beef stew which is exactly what I needed. Ttc wise not much to report. Currently about day 20 so think I we've missed the boat this time.

Sally - of course you can lovely! Fire away!
Claire - sorry that acupuncture didn't go so well. I don't know what to advise for the next session - I tend to worry more after a bad experience and probably worsen it then! That's great about the driving, I used to find myself very tired and achey in my shoulders as I used to hold my arms very stiff! Only a couple more days to go now Claire - you won't feel it and I have everything crossed for you. Will you have Thursday and Friday off work for it?
AFM - Went to my boss's bbq on Sat and had a lovely time. Spent all day yesterday just doing as little as possible really! Getting back into the swing of things exercise wise and I'm trying to fix my diet too so thinking about a gym membership & SW maybe. TTC wise CD 8 and apparently high on CBFM (since CD 6) which is complete nonsense! Doing my final cycle of the CB trial so last month of constant peeing in a pot!

Missed you there Holey! Sounds like a lovely weekend you've had. That's lovely your friend is borrowing your veil - I borrowed my sister's as my something borrowed. Has everything been ok since your procedure?

Claire - sorry you didn't enjoy the acupuncture this time. Good work on the driving though, when I first learnt, it always seemed to tire me out as well.
Hi Holey - it was my niece's Christening, she was very well behaved! Your weekend sounds lovely, it's so nice your friend is borrowing your veil.
tayto - glad you had a good weekend. Did you get good weather for the BBQ? Thanks for your help as well - I'm CD11 today, I've had high fertility since CD9 - I've also had EWCM so assuming I'm gearing up to OV (or have done and missed the peak). Upon Googling it seems common to get a few high days before a peak - have you found the same?
22/09/2014 at 12:38
Sally - weather was ok; bbq was on from 5 so it was cool then anyway - at least it didn't rain!
For the CB digi OPKS, I get 3 days of high (flashing smiley) and then a peak (constant smiley) which lasts that day and the day after. I think the advice is to DTD every other day during high and then every day of the peak (both days). This is my fourth cycle doing them - the first two were exactly 3 days of high and then the peak but the last cycle was a bit messed up. I didn't do them until late (was on holidays so wasn't going to bother) and then did one where it was low in the morning. I felt like ov was imminent though so I did an IC that afternoon which was a definite positive so I did another digi that night (you're only supposed to do them with FMU) and it went straight to peak! That was a messy cycle due to travelling and copious alcohol so I've discarded that one!

I hope you all enjoyed the weekend.
SallyLou - Glad you had a lovely time at the christening, yes it is my appointment tomorrow.
Claire - Sorry the acupuncture didn't go well, it sounds like it has the opposite effect to what it should, I can see why your torn about going back. Well done on the driving lesson, you are doing really well. I used to hate mine so much!
Holey - Sounds like you had a fab and busy weekend. 5am!!! The only time I see 5am these days is when I'm up early for work!
Tayto - Haven't you been doing that CB trial for ages? I bet loads of people give up with it. Good luck with the diet and exercise.
AFM - I've been suffering with anxiety over the past couple of weeks and I am not usually an anxious person I'm quite a chilled out person. It's been building up though and I had a good cry to H on Saturday night which I think did me the world of good. My H was asking why I feel like this and I didn't know, it's every little thing that normally doesn't bother me makes me hugely stressed and anxious, but in our chat we worked out it all goes back to TTC. Now I've let it all out I do feel a bit better and hopefully after we've seen the consultant tomorrow I'll start to feel better. We decorated two of our spare rooms yesterday which made me feel better I enjoyed having projects to do. One we'd left magnolia since we moved in last year and never gave a purpose because it was going to be a nursery. It's now a guest bedroom and can be changed when the time comes.

Thanks tayto - that's good to know. It's good to talk to someone using them rather than reading bits and pieces on the internet!
Sorry you've been feeling anxious Dolly - it's unsurprising it's all caught up with though. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow, hopefully once you have a plan of action to move forwards you'll feel better.

Dolly - I've done two cycles of the trial - had to put it on hold when I was on holidays last cycle as I wouldn't have been able to keep up the pee collection! Sorry to hear of your anxiety - hopefully meeting the consultant tomorrow and getting started with a plan will help alleviate your fears x What colours did you decorate the spare rooms in? We've just moved into our spare room as we need to do our own one but we love it so much now, we're just going to stay in there!
Sally - no problems at all - if you have any other q's, just let me know. I would imagine you should get your peak either tomorrow or Wednesday. Fingers crossed for you x

Tayto - yes everything has been fine since thanks but I think because of that we've missed ovulation this month
Dolly - sorry to hear it's all getting to you but glad to hear you're feeling better. I love decorating (well picking colours and furniture!)
Sally - sounds like your niece was very well behaved! is she tiny or a bit older?
