Good morning everyone!
Tayto, good news sounds like your charts are nice and clear.
Veecee, good luck for your results,
and big congrats to Pitheta!!!
AFM, I can't believe it's Monday again :( CD13 for me and not much to report, temp very low this morning.
I've a question, those of you that get ovulation pains what do they feel like and how long does it go on for?
I've been having a pain that is difficult to describe low down on one side of my abdomen like an aching or slight cramping, it started last night and still lad a little this morning.
I am wondering if it is ovulation and the acupuncturist said that she thought I would ovulate from that side this month as the needles she put in that side I felt more.
It's probably nothing though!!

That's great Tayto - feeling happy with your dtd efforts? Hope the 2ww flies by.
Dolly - I sometimes get what I think are ov pains but never entirely sure. I get it for 1-2 days and yes slight cramping, with the odd pinching feeling. Very interesting about the acupuncturist.
AFM - cd1 it seems. That gives me an 11 day LP with spotting from 4dpo. Having spent the weekend at a wonderful christening in Dublin, surrounding by darling children, this is getting hard to take. My sister did tell me that she has PCOS which I hadn't known, and she has 3 kids. I'll mention that to the dr when I talk to them after lunch but I didn't think spotting was something associated with that?

PiTheta - congratulation again.
VC - good luck for later with the results. Rubbish about the short cycle though.
Tayto - sounds like you must have a very clear chart.
DollyP - don't rule it out especially if it's in sync with what acupuncturist said.
AFM - I'm cd21 (9dpo), my temp has taken a bit of a dip this morning but is still above the coverline. So I guess just a case of waiting and seeing what happens tomorrow morning with that. I've just started feeling a bit nauseous this morning on and off, trying so hard not to overthink it as this was the only symptom I got with M (around this time too) - which is probably not helping with the feeling nauseous anyway.
Hello to all who follow.

Dollyp - I think I had ov pain this month and it was cramping on the one side and occurred on and off over about 3 days but not consistent. It's my first month actually noticing it though so I'm not sure how accurate I am with it. Fingers crossed it is ov - have you ever felt that kind of cramping before?
VC - Sorry about the short cycle however it's a positive bit of news from your sister so I'd definitely recommend mentioning that to your doc. I can't help with the spotting bit though. Good luck again for this afternoon x
Sapphire - Fingers crossed that's an implantation dip - the symptoms sounds positive so I really hope this is your month.

Morning all! I hope you all had a good weekend.
Congratulations to Pithea!
Enjayee, I hope your doctors appointment goes ok today.
Tayto - Great news about ov!
Dolly P - I don't know re ov pains as I never get them. Interesting about the acupuncture, how was it? Do you feel the needles going in?
Veecee - good luck with your results. Sorry today is cd1. I get up to 4 days spotting before af and my doctor said it could be pcos so it could be down to that. Did you have your scan yet?
Saphire - Still got fingers crossed for you!
AFM - CD15 and I'm sure I ov'd on Saturday and H and I have covered it well without doing it too much so fingers crossed. A few times over the weekend I have felt quite positive but I know I really shoudn't get my hopes up especially with the scan at the weekend. I am dreading the spotting starting next week!
24/03/2014 at 11:38
Lulu - fingers crossed you've done enough and the spotting will stay away and this will be your month.
24/03/2014 at 11:41
Sapphire, fingers crossed for you I hope the temp stays above the line.
Lulu, it sounds like you've done well this month so fingers crossed again!
The accupuncture is going well I've had two sessions so far, however the acupuncturist has said for it to really work you need to go every week for 3 months which at £45 a time is a lot of money. My H isn't keen for me to go for all this time as his view is it could be money we are saving for treatment that is scientifically proven to work! I plan to go for the whole of this cycle though. Some of the needles you don't feel at all and others do hurt a bit, they are mainly the abdomenal ones but it is not an unbearable pain.

Sapphire best of luck with the waiting. ugh.
Lulu - that's good to know thanks. hope the 2ww flies by but sounds like you are in a great shape for it.
Dolly - that is expensive. Hopefully one month will be all it takes
It looks like I'm not cd1, as there's been nothing since first thing this morning. So it's good that luteal phase is a bit longer. Playing phone tag with the dr a bit, just waiting for them to phone me back.
24/03/2014 at 13:48
Thanks Dolly P, yes it is a lot of money but hopefully worth it and you hopefully won't need it for 3 months! I know my friend had it for fertility but it didn't help her get a bfp but it has helped her with anxiety which is good. I've though about it for stress but so worried as I have a little fear of needles!
Veecee I hope you manage to speak to your doctor soon!
I haven't seen CC on here today, I hope she is ok.
24/03/2014 at 14:10
VC - hope the dr doesn't keep you waiting too long.
This talk of acupuncture, my sil tried it for ttc but it didn't help her get a bfp either. Perhaps, stupidly I'd never realised how much stuff it could help until I had a session for morning sickness. It was the best £50 ever spent, but I was lucky I didn't need another session. I couldn't believe the difference from just walking in and walking out.

just spoke to dr - progesterone was 37 which she was delighted with. I am ovulating :) next step is ultrasound which I should here about soon.

Dollyp - hopefully the acupuncture works and then it will be money well spent
VC - that's great news - one less thing to worry about

24/03/2014 at 19:25
Hi all, I thought I replied to this this morning but looks like my reply was eaten. Never mind :)
I can't do personals as I have to nip off in a sec but Veecee, that is great news! And PiTheta, congrats once again on your BFP.
AFM my GP appointment went well. The biopsy they took from my overgrown lining came back clear, but my doctor wants me to have another smear test as he doesn't think I've been properly examined (I had an unsuitable result in November, cue visit to the gyno, cue her finding something, cue hospital referral, cue nobody telling anyone a damn thing, even though I told EVERYONE that I'd had an unsuitable smear result). I am sure it'll be fine but am a little peeved that I've been prodded down there four times in four months and I still haven't had a result. I thought the hospital were going to do everything there and then but clearly not. Anyway, a smear is a five minute procedure so I'm not going to fret.
TTC-wise it's CD8 for me and AF has finally sodded off for the month. Now we get to the fun part :-)
24/03/2014 at 19:49
Glad the appointment went well Enjayee - enjoy the fun part x
24/03/2014 at 20:37
