Does anyone else's mum like to keep them up to date of everybody that falls pregnant in a way that makes you feel like a failure??

No, my mum is very careful about mentioning things like that. Some of my friends are rubbish but unless you have been trying for a long time I don't think you get what it's like. Actually even some friends who haven't fallen pregnant straight away are quick to forget once they have a child. Sending you hugs gillsy, you're not a failure, you are actually very strong to pick yourself up after mc, and carry on trying. I'm sure your mum doesn't mean to upset you.

Not my mum, but my Nan, yep. It’s awful. Sometimes I really want to slap her. My own Nana.
Have a hug, you’re not a failure at all x

Yep, plus it adds to the fun with twee FB announcements. If you throw in a good dose of "it suits you" whenever you hold a baby you have my entire family covered :(

thanks RC and OB.
NG - sorry you're suffering with your family.
My mum knows what a rough time I'm going through but she just seems very good a putting her foot in it. Its not just this she does it with. Lucky I'm in a better place right now and can take the news that a girl that was in my class at school is now pregnant.

Not my Mum. My brother is having a baby and that isnt even spoken about unless i bring it up. My family are great.
On the other hand, OHs family are shocking, to the point that my MIL took it upon herself to tell BIL &SIL that she thought i was pregnant because i wanted to buy a buggie (the buggie may i add is to make life easier when we have our 1yr old nephew), so then i get bombarded with texts from them!

My Mum new not to say anything, she didn't get how upset I was about not been able to conceive. She used to try and cheer me up by listing all the great things about not having children, it used to really upset me.
